It's strawberry. Actually it is low carb. I've checked their website. They make cakes for people who's diabetes. They use sweetener and the cake part is made with almonds.
Been watching religiously for the past 6 months after booking our holiday to Japan. Absolutely love the vending machine episodes. Now we're under a week to go before we can experience it ourselves. Thank you for the great content.
I just made my grandkids what they call "apple fries" they are just cut up like fry size with a lil lemon juice right as you were buying the apples from the vending machine.
Delicious looking assortment of food. I'd have to say the gyoza are my favorite-- even though I couldn't taste them-- because I love these kinds of dumplings. The crunchy, thin wrapper and juicy filling. I love to add sesame oil, chopped cilantro, and chopped scallions to my dipping sauce. Yum.
Woohoo! That looked incredible! Mega had an extra piece of that cheesecake even before filming ended! 😂 My partner was absolutely drooling while watching this video, their favorite foods are Ramen and cheesecake! For some reason, I wasn't getting notifications about new videos, despite my settings being correct for them. Regardless I am glad to have found this particular video. Everything looked good, except I'm not a fan of cheesecake. However, I can admire the care that went into the creation of the dessert. Obviously you enjoyed this meal and it's great to see the father/son dynamic between you and Mega. Thank you!
This looked like a yummy meal - amazing the variety you can get from vending machines in Japan. Mega is right in there now being fully interactive and it's really impressive to see him gain confidence in front of the camera.
I love the variety of food that Japan has in its vending machines. Better than the stale, outdated machines of the United States. This makes me want to come to Japan even more. Not only for the culture but especially for the FOOD 😋
So glad Mega has come out of his shell. He is a wonderful young man. I'd be proud to call him my son. Another favor filled (although it is virtual) presentation of incredible food found in vending machines in Tokyo! Good work , men!

The apples packed individually is a smart idea as it keeps them from turning color. The braised pork belly looked AMAZING! Hard to believe you can get such quality meat from a vending machine for close to $6. However, the cheesecake was my favorite part. I'm biased though as it's my fav dessert. It looked absolutely delicious!
Gyoza, ramen and cheesecake 😋 Life just got good in your household; I'm now having packaged chapaghetti with a homemade strawberry compote to put on my vanilla ice-cream. A bit boring compared to your meal 😂 Oh, and I'm listening to the rain and thunder; I love thunderstorms!

Be interesting to see a video of how you actually prepare the food following the recommended instructions. I find the whole food vending machine scene in Japan very interesting, and amazed at the quality compared to the US.

A nice trove of good food! My girlfriend was trying to reach through the computer monitor to get that cheesecake! (Cheesecake is her absolute favorite dessert.)
