Adobe buying blender, or the blender foundation, and doing adobe stuff with it (get blender now just $59.99/month!) is a nightmare scenario for most 3D modelers both new to blender and veterans. The thing is, there are actually a lot of protections that blenders license gives us that keep this situation from happening, so I decided to make a video about it.

its crazy how expensive it is now, wouldn't be surprised if it exceeds $100/month in the next couple years

Thank God it's not possible. Not just because "Blender Foundation doesn't want to sell it." The unability to buy Blender is in its licence's nature.

@ArtemGms open source projects have changed license before, that’s covered in the later half of the video, the tldr tho is that it would just get forked
