These trailers have made it clear that the purpose of them is to get the audience curious about what the context could possibly be than to show us the context. True, no one is excited for the plot or characters (yet), and I get how that would make people look stupid and easily entertained since those are the two most important things to be excited about in a story, but these trailers are actively hiding these from us the same way a horror movie would keep its monster in the shadows. This has had its intended effect. This has been executed with thought. And there is absolutely nothing wrong or stupid about a person for being naturally intrigued. It's like... like high-quality cinematic click bait, and I respect that far more than mediocre clickbait OR mediocre promo material
