Fines sadly don’t teach ppl to keep the environment litter free the best. They find other means to litter elsewhere. Just my 2 cents, I think shaming is still a really good way to get people to stop littering but also perhaps we might want to run some enforcement campaign where civilian can earn money by keeping areas clean or organise cleanliness projects. This needs to be thought wider and better right up to corporate workplace and schools and f&b retail spaces. Got to get holistic if you want a cleaner environment as a whole.
