It's kind of a pity Canon Street didn't get its deep level tube and Fenchurch Street got none at all. But the original plan had no interchange with the Northern Line's City Branch which the one we got at least does havd at London Bridge. But Thamesmead has been neglected for far too long.

This is an interesting video. To be honest, many of these services most likely wouldn't have existed if this line had been built, possibly including the DLR because the reason it was built is because Thatcher's government blocked the Jubilee line extension in 1979, and it was therefore a much cheaper alternative that an otherwise anti-rail government could get behind.
