You know, I can see Tai's kid's story going two ways. 1- He really is just edgy and potentially dark and they work to keep him from following those old dark emperor paths 2- He's just shy, quiet and introverted, and worries what it means that his destined partner's evolution path matches so many of the 'enemies' from the stories about the adventures of his father and friends.

I always considered the crest of friendship being associated with storms, as opposed to just ice or lightning. Also, watching the epilogue as a kid, I never considered Izzy and Mimi might have been together, but after Tri I'm certainly not against it.

I love these lines! When I think of the kids, I like rehashing their partners to newer Digimon. Like giving Davis’ son the Coronamon line, and Matt and Sora’s daughter the Lunamon line, and Mimi’s son the Lalamon line (ending with Lotusmon or Bancholilymon instead of Rosemon like in Savers). I even created a daughter for Willis and I debate on her either having the Lopmon line since Willis lost his own Lopmon to the virus, or even the Keramon line.

Rip the Divoom. I can tell you really put a lot of thought into this and despite knowing practically nothing about those kids you really made the evo lines work

I HAVE A WHOLE DOC ABOUT THIS! (And I also would prefer it if Izzy's daughter were the leader, that's so crazy!) My choices are bound to be pretty weird-considering I haven't edited the doc in ages, and my knowledge of the rules and logic of digivolution is casual at best-but I'm gonna share them anyway cuz I think it'd be fun to compare~ (Boy, did this get long. Sorry!) Davis' son: I gave him the same Champion and Ultimate, but I gave him Gumdramon for Rookie (no reason other than I wanted to avoid giving any of the kids the exact same Rookies as their parents, lol) and Dynasmon as a Mega. Tai's son: See, I'm pretty certain I had given him Tyrannomon as a Champion and Machinedramon as a Mega previously, but at some point I went back and changed it. I really wanted his Rookie to be ToyAgumon and I didn't feel Tyrannomon was as fitting of a Champion for it. So instead, its Champion is Omekamon. That said, it looks as though I kept the Ultimate as MetalTyrannomon and made the Mega RustTyrannomon... I was so sure I had gone back to change the Ultimate to Tinmon after you introduced me to that Digimon, but I guess I forgot to do it? Although, if I were to change it to Tinmon, I have no idea what I would have it digivolve in afterwards. Maybe I would just change it back to Machinedramon anyway, lol. Yolei and Ken's daughter: I GAVE HER THE EXACT SAME LINE! Yolei and Ken's son: I also wanted to give him an insect-based line-up, but I went with FanBeemon, Waspmon, CannonBeemon and TigerVespamon, because I was just so eager to give a Digidestined a FanBeemon, lol. Yolei and Ken's baby: Ohhh, I see what you were trying there and I actually really like Morphmon as the Rookie! In my doc, though, I actually tried to give them a wood-based line-up since Yolei has the Crest of Sincerity and because Wormmon has always struck me as a woodland sort of Digimon. So I gave them Budmon for In-Training, Mushroomon for Rookie, Woodmon for Champion, Cherrymon for Ultimate and Ceresmon for Mega... Not sure if that last one was a little overkill on my part, though. Kari's kid: I'm pretty sure I was close to giving them Mikemon as Champion and Bastemon as Ultimate at some point because I really like them, but this was the point at which I discovered Darcmon and I was too in love with her to let her go, lol. I did ultimate give them Salamon as a Rookie despite my strong urge not to repeat the parent's Rookie; I remember being really torn up about it, but it just made the most sense, I guess? The Champion was still Darcmon because I had to, and the Mega was Valkyrimon because I love them so much. As for the Ultimate... yeah, I remember struggling big time with this one. The one I have written down is Karatenmon, which I'm not too crazy about. I'm pretty sure I always meant to come back and edit this one. Izzy and Mimi's daughter (you know, I never noticed that the implication that they'd end up together existed before Tri): Ahhh, there's the FanBeemon! I thought it was weird you had yet to bring these up, lol! I actually chose to go in a super different route here. I gave her Hagurumon for Rookie, Gladimon for Champion, Knightmon for Ultimate and Crusadermon for Mega. I figured it'd be a fun way to mix it up, especially because I always thought there was potential in Izzy liking tech and Motimon being capable to Digivolve into mechanical Digimon. I didn't just want Izzy's daughter to be a copy/paste tech wiz like her dad, though, so I gave her a line that felt mechanical but had a sort of leader/protector vibe? (Cuz, like I said, I also liked the idea of her being the team leader.) Izzy and Mimi's son: Ohhh, I really love those Ultimate and Mega for him! IDK if those Digimon existed the last time I worked on the doc, so I never thought to use them. Instead I gave him Floramon for Rookie because I like Floramon and I think more boys should have female Digimon partners, Vegiemon for Champion, Blossomon for Ultimate and then... Lotosmon for Mega because I couldn't find anything better at the time. Cody's daughter: That's a really cool line and I love your reasoning for it! I'll confess, I had zero clue what to do with this poor girl so I just went ham with it. Monmon for Rookie, JungleMonjyamon for Champion, Makuramon for Ultimate and Sepikmon for Mega. I know Sepikmon is an Armor and likely intended to be around Champion level, but it was the only monkey Digimon that I thought would fit best as a Makuramon digievolution. Plus it's an Armadillomon digivolution, so it has (an admittedly tenuous) connection to her father's Digimon partner. TK's son: I chose to be ~ironic~ with this one and give him a devilish line-up, but I also wanted to be a little more original than just the traditional Devimon line. So I gave him Tsukaimon as Rookie (which is... not that original, lol), Vilemon as Champion, Mephistomon as Ultimate and Gulfmon as Mega. But I really like your line! I never would have thought of a Tapirmon line, but it makes a lot of sense. Sora and Matt's older kid: I also gave them Elecmon for Rookie ( I went with the Violet variant because I loved it and I wrote the doc long before it showed up in Adventure 2020). I remember going in circles for this one, though, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to give them Leomon as Champion or not. Ultimately, I decided to give them BlueMeramon for Champion (I know this fella is usually classified as an Ultimate, but it's literally just Meramon except ~blue~ and its usual Digivolution is also an Ultimate, so I feel justified in treating it like a Champion), SkullMeramon for Ultimate and Gankoomon for Mega. Sora and Matt's younger kid: I gave them Bearmon for Rookie, Grizzlymon for Champion, Kyukimon for Ultimate and Callismon for Mega. I remember that Ultimate was the one that gave me the most trouble and while I love Kyukimon, it sticks out like a sore thumb in this line-up. I think you had recommended an Ultimate for Callismon in a previous video? I might have to revisit that. Joe's kid: I gave them Gizamon for Rookie, Coelamon for Champion, followed by... Mermaimon for Ultimate and Venusmon for Mega. I do not remember what exactly I was thinking with this one. I think it was a mixture of me wanting to give more boys (I think this kid was intended to be a boy?) female Digimon partners and also wanting to see a scraggly Digimon without traditionally feminine traits make that sort of transformation. That and I guess Venusmon just felt like a very unexpected Digimon to link to Joe, lol. Anyway, I super enjoyed this video and I hope everyone liked (or at least has fun taking apart) my choices!

I think the only change I'd make is for Matt and Soras second child, I'd give the Blucomon line to them. That species is already a friend to Gabumon and shares the icy feel, plus the wings can be a nod to Sora

Any video featuring Tyrannomon immediately gets my thumbs up.

I would like a series/season with the epilogue kids and see what their adventures would be like in the digimon series.

Before someone else says it: SaberLeomon is used as a Mega and Ultimate in different media and DinoTigermon's Reference Book listing specifies it evolved from SaberLeomon :) Definitely should have clarified like I did with DaiPenmon just thought more people knew about it being used as both, my b!

For Kari’s kid i kind of thought maybe Salamon , Dobermon , Cerberumon , Plutomon ( cause it’s feels like a different way to explore a Salamon evolution )

Man often I have my own ideas and opinions but this whole video was perfection I totally see all of these lines working out. I'd even like it, if not so much the edgy 6th ranger, but more like proof that "evil" Digimon like machinedramon aren't evil as a species. Some are good, some are bad, and Tai's son happened to raise a very kind and protective machinedramon. The iron wall and shield who courageously protect his friends

Absolutely NO SHAME for the fanfics! Like many others, I'd be alright if they could do a series with this next generation of digidestined (and not just follow one kid or separate them all the time >.>) especially since it would give them another chance to finally canonize Takari.

I KNEW you'd go with the V-Tamer Veedramon Line before the video started ahaha, honestly it is a crime we've never seen UlforceVeedramon properly get screen time (Not counting Savers). TigerVespamon line is a really good idea too considering Rosemon also having dual wield weapons, and HerculesKabuterimon being golden and bug themed etc

Really loved the digimon you ended up settling on. Something that would have been cool to see is if this new generation had access to the dark masters, since you gave Tai's son a Machinedramon. This would help nostalgia pander a little bit while also giving the dark masters a bit of a redemption arc. Mimi's son could eventually go from Woodmon to Cherrymon to Puppetmon, and maybe Joe's son could go Bukamon to Betamon to Seadramon to Megaseadramon to Metalseadramon. i do think Piedmon should be left out though. Eitherway, loved the video! keep up the amazing work!

Nice video! I guess the only lines i've ever put some thought on were on Matt and Sora's kids. They would be something like: Yokomon - Elecmon - Reppamon - Kyukimon - Kuzuhamon (A little basic, but it sure got Matt's influence) Tsunomon - Penmon - Mojyiamon - GrappuLeomon - Leopardmon (this one I could incorporate some mammal/bird/ice/ aspects, even the Mega has some combined aspects of Matt and Sora's digimons, very satisfied with that one lol)

When I was a kid I also wrote a fanfiction about the Digidestined's kids and what their Digimon would become while on their own adventure. Nice to know others did that as well.

We have a few in common (FanBeemon for Izzy’s daughter, Mikemon for Kari’s son, and another Veemon for Davis’ kid), but I focused more on variants of the parents’ partners. I gave Mimi’s son an Aluraumon (I hope that’s how it’s spelled), Yolei and Ken’s son had the Kokabuterimon line, and TK’s son originally had a Tukaimon before I settled on the Herissmon line. I forget if I gave Pomumon to Yolei and Ken’s daughter or Sora’s daughter. Edit: Oh yeah! And Matt and Sora's son had a Psychemon

Oooooo hell yeah. They would never do it but I would love a continuation with these kids , since there's so many you would have multiple teams doing things in the digi and human world. The 6th ranger kid Being the loner and shifting back and forth between worlds

I really like Mimi's son's digimon evolution line.

For an adult ice themed bird for Sora and Matt kid you have Swanmon. Its digimon reference boook entry say "As a Digimon that thrives in cold regions, Swanmon can cause computers to freeze when it passes through their network." and "Its special move is Down Tornado, by which it spreads its wings, surrounds its opponent with powerful swirling currents of cold air and feathers," so it's kinda work. It's also a digimental of love armor evolution so you also have a Sora crest reference.

They should continue build their franchise with epilogue kids, not gonna lie :/ So much potential. Since their baby level must not have to digivolve into rookie form their parents had. Plenty of room for new design and line. We can get new armor digivolves, maybe introduce 10 spirits into adventure series, implement 'tamers' concept into adv such as card slash equipment. Since in their era digimon and human finally can coexisting together

I like to think that the mother of Davis/Daisuke's son is Natchan/Nacchan from the Natsu E No Tobira/The Door To Summer drama cd. Felt pretty bad that when Davis developed a romantic interest with another girl that wasn't Kari things didn't turn out for the best. But I still like to think that they SOMEHOW ended up together. As a reference to this, I would personally swap Veedramon with Sethmon. Ya know, the Crest Of Love and all of that. Pretty cheesy but I think it still fits.

Interesting you went with the MetalTyrannomon route for Taichi's kid. Would be interesting to get a protag Machinedramon though. I always assumed a protagnist Tyrannomon would go down the MasterTyrannomon and give us a Data equivalent to RustTyrannomon.

No Dark Digimon? Ok... I’m not counting Machindramon since it’s a machine and can be programmed to be good or evil. Jokes aside, this was really interesting and fun video to watch. I’m glad you gave them so many varieties and not just clone the digimon that their parents had.

Can you speculate the Digimon Survive digimon evolutions? Some of them were already shown in some released game pictures but not all of them

Every time I watch the Adventure 2 epilog it makes me sad that my two favorite ships never sailed. DavisXKari and TaiXSora are my personal favorite ships for this group. Oh well, I always have fanfiction to make me smile.

I think it would be interesting if after they done with the adventure/zero two cast if they did a little something with their children from the epilogue whether it’s just a movie or a mini series type of thing. I imagine that would be pretty unlikely at this point but I’d like to see it explored especially since at this time they do seem like carbon copies of their parents so it would be interesting to see them given their own personalities.

Somthing that could work for Tais son is that he could go from machinedramon but as he moved closer to the light his Agumon could go from Tyrannomon to MASTERTyerannomon and then BlackWarGreymon hinting at the darkness inside of him but his rise back into the light.

5:10 One alternative line could be to go more into Kokuwamon line (Yes, I know it's more of a machine-like), from there BladeKuwagamon, MetallifeKuwagamon and finally not Grand but GrandisKuwagamon (More humanoid GrandKuwagamon with claw weapons). 6:45 Alternatively, I guess Bastemon could evolve into Anubismon, it is still quite holy Digimon. 9:15 Oh. OH. Leomon in these series almost never ends up well. O_O'

Now for Tai's kid, I'd like to ask about thoughts on RustTyrannomon as a mega. Perhaps if the idea of Machinedramon was that they were the edgy sixed-ranger type, once they've accepted the group and the group accepts them back, the digivolution is swapped over to the less outright antagonistic form of RustTyrannomon. Still exceedingly dangerous and more threatening looking then the other digidestined kids's partners, but more of a scary looking guardian then an outright threat

I also want just for TK and kari pairing, how did they not end up together ?????? I also felt joe and mimi were the stronger pare. speaking of epilogue what is your dream epilogue for all the series?

imagine if Meiko is the mom of Tai's kid (since clearly while Meiko hasn't existed in 02 they did have crushes on each other in tri ) that Tai's kid maybe goes more cat themed since both Kairi as Tai's sister and Meiko had cat themed digimon. so Koromon to Plotmon to Blackgatomon to Bastemon to Dinotigermon to Bancholeomon/ Chaosmon maybe??

This was a good video also I give Ken and Yolei’s son Dokunamon as his rookie as it was green like Wormmon.

I mean, another line for Mikemon that, in my opinion at least, works just as well, goes like this: Salamon => Mikemon => GrapLeomon => Dinotigermon As for Yolei's youngest child, another insectoid mega that would've worked just as well, and kept the Ken theme as well, would've been GrandisKuwagamon (X-Antibody Variant of GrandKuwagamon).

I like the idea of TK's kid being kind of on the fence between light and dark. I was thinking Tsukaimon to Devidramon. However, tying into potential story things, the champion would later become Gargoylemon instead as TK's kid becomes more good/holy oriented. From there, I'd go MagnaAngemon Priest Mode and finally to Dominimon. It'd be like a reverse fallen angel, instead of being good and falling to darkness, it would start dark and then pivot towards light. I also feel like Dominimon fits not only as the alternate mega for MagnaAngemon, but also because it's armor is a blue-purple similar to Tsukaimon, bringing it all full circle.

For Izzy/Mimi's son instead of Mushroommon and Woodmon I feel Aruraumon -> Vegiemon(or Weedmon) though I agree with the ultimate and Mega choices. Aruraumon is the main one that I think should be use as it's appearance heavily looks like Palmons but has purple hair instead of the pink of Palmon's which could both be used to indicate that they're a 'male' digimon (I know they don't have actual genders) but also as a subtle hint about the crest of knowledge. It's because I'd be going from Aruraumon into eventually Ayataramon that I'd lean to Vegiemon simply to keep with the more viney aspect and just feels like a perfect stop-gap between the two. On another note, SaberLeomon is a Mega as well (though I do know Leomon just skips ultimate to evolve into him XD) so I don't know how I feel about him evolving into another digimon past Saberleomon. If you still wanted to use SaberLeomon as the "Ultimate" then I think I'd personally go with BanchoLeomon as the end Mega but have it be sort of a side/slide evolution to SaberLeomon where the first time he evolves into him it's from Leomon himself. The head canon I'm using for this is that, at the beginning of the adventure, all the kids were together but they run into a extremely powerful enemy digimon (specifically Jesmon) that's killing a bunch of digimon for seemingly no reason but they're actually doing so by destroying digimon it believes will be a threat to the Digital World some time in the future. All of the other kids feel Jesmon needs to be stopped with Tai's kid being extra determined to destroy Jesmon as one of the Digimon it killed was one he and Tyrannomon had become friends with (And it's because of this hatred that leads to the evolution to Machinedramon). Sora/Matt's older son, while agreeing that Jesmon is in the wrong for doing so, but doesn't agree with everyone else that he needs to be destroyed and wants to find a way to convince Jesmon that there's a better way because he's clearly not an evil Digimon at heart and is simply misguided in trying to protect the digital world itself. When confronted by Tai's son on how he'd do that he doesn't have the answer at that time but says that's no reason not to try. They get in a heated argument that leads to Tai's son punching him to the ground. Izzy/Mimi's daughter (the leader of the group of course) runs up to Sora/Matt's son to make sure he's okay and tells them both to calm down. Tai's son mumbles that Sora/Matt's son is delusional, sighs and says "Sorry. I went to far. Are you alright?" Izzy/Mimi's daughter reaches down to help Sora/Matt's son up but he slaps her hand away, gets up by himself, and starts walking away. Tai's son asks him where he thinks he's going and he replies "To find the answer that we should be looking for instead of simply more destruction" He's then going to be gone from the show for a few episodes until one episode where his younger brother is alone with his Penguinmon who's being attacked by an evil Digimon and is seemingly going to be killed when Bancholeomon flashes through using Burning Bancho Punch to destroy the other Digimon. It reveals that it's Bancholeomon by panning up after the younger brother is saved to see Bancho standing there with his arms crossed and the older brother with his arm on him in a sign of thanks. The younger brother runs up to the older saying thanks and that he's so glad he's back to which the older tells him that he's not actually back but just came to warn him that he's close to the answer he was searching for but that, pursuing it would likely lead to conflict with the others down the road first. The younger says that he'll go with him to help with finding the answer because Tai's son is becoming more and more determined to destroy anything in his way and isn't even listening to Izzy/Mimi's daughter much anymore to which the older tells him that's all the more reason he needs to stay with the others. That Izzy/Mimi's daughter will need all the help she can get and tells him to tell her that he's sorry for slapping her hand like that when he walked away and that he's sorry he'll likely be their enemy in the near future because, even though their end goals are similar, they're misaligned and he now knows for sure that he's right but needs more time to get the answer to prove to the others. That would eventually lead to the next arc where The older brother is the main antagonist of the arc fighting the others but, as the arc goes on, more and more of the kids (starting with his brother, Izzy/Mimi's daughter and a few others of course) will eventually start siding with him as they come to realize his solution will work until it's eventually Tai's son who will be alone as he's still after getting revenge on Jesmon. As the show starts shifting from viewing him as the antagonist to being one of the protagonists again, it'll move away of just showing BanchoLeomon to showing Leomon being able to evolve into both SaberLeomon and BanchoLeomon depending on what the crisis requires and him being to transition from one Mega to the other during battle. If you get to the end of this comment, and actually read the whole thing, I thank you for taking the time to read this, likely, really poor novel XD

Got to say, I really like the lines you gave the kids, and how you gave reasonings for each one. The only thing I'd change is: instead of Tai's son having Machinedramon as his mega, I'd rather it be RustTyrannomon (Pay no attention to the profile pick, this totally isn't a way to shove my favorite mon into here). Going with your idea of Tai's son being more jaded, and taking on a more villainous role, I believe RustTyrannomon works better. Its a lot more dirty and tainted than the pristine WarGreymon or shiny Machinedramon. Not only that, it could work as him stepping out of his father's shadow, and having his own adventure; something not defined Tai and his adventure, but unique to him. There's also the parallel of Tyrannomon being in the name of the whole line, similar to the Greymon line. Anyway, I wrote a lot more than I meant to, but I want to spread awareness of a Digimon I think gets over looked a lot. This was a really interesting video, and I really enjoyed watching it.

Most of the bug Digimon are beetles, and chances are this is a reference to something Japanese culture that I (and possibly others) am missing. But yeah, no ant-type Digimon, only like 2 Digimon that are overt in being spiders, and you've pretty much run through all the known bee and wasp Digimon. I know it's a weird thing to get a bit obsessed over, but with such high populations of bugs (especially ants) across the globe, it kind of feels like a massive set of missed opportunities with just how limited the bug-type is in their variety. Also, with Fanbeemon/Funbeemon, Waspmon, Cannonbeemon, and Tigervespamon we have Digimon tied to a lore that hasn't really been explored since its introduction, the Royal Hive, all we know about the Royal Hive is that it has those particular Digimon as part of its organization structure, and maybe Honeybeemon as well and that each of them plays set roles within the hive, Tigervespamon being the highest leveled acts as a part of the special elite guard for the queen of the hive but that's all we know on that end. Honestly, there are a lot of interesting lore bits that have been introduced to the Digimon franchise since the run of the OG Digimon Adventure. Nostalgia925 did a video on some of these lore bits, including the Royal Hive. But the idea of each of the Digidestined having Digimon tied to these different power factions in the digital world is too fascinating to not try exploring. And in a sense, I like the idea of the following generation of Digidestined exploring these sorts of concepts, learning about the Digital World and the kinds of relationships their partner Digimon would typically have in the absence of their influence and connection. And I brought the Royal Hive for another reason, it is stated to be this sort of advanced and sophisticated place in the digital world, hence why Waspmon and Cannonbeemon have mechanical components to them, they are byproducts of the Hive using its advanced innovation to further improve those Digimon to better perform the function they serve for the Hive. And at least one of the kids having a Fanbeemon/Funbeemon as a partner could potentially lead to an encounter where that particular Digimon and their partner are brought to the Royal Hive to understand why there is what should be one of its members operating outside its designated function, also maybe try making an attempt to understand the powered up but temporary evolutions that happen. Partner Digimon always seem to have a greater output than their base format, when we do get a chance to see them interacting and fighting with the partnered Digimon that are supposedly the same Digimon. This probably means there is something in their coding that causes them to get stronger with a partner. Angoramon kind of alluded to this when he materialized for the first time, but that could just be how Ghost Game decided to run things, but it still doesn't discount that partner Digimon seem to be naturally more powerful than their templates.

if they did explore this and made it a season I think it would have been cool too see the og digidestents reaction to some of the kids partners evolutions because a lot of them are digimon they were close to and saw get killed or just digimon that the OGs had bad experiences with when they were kids I feel like this could turn into a tamers part 2 in terms of parental involvement in the story and potentially darker themes in this hypothetical season we’d probably never get
