In the first choice, I'd have to go with the spider. You're much more likely to avoid being bit by one spider than a cabin full of mosquitoes. After all, mosquitoes are blood suckers, while the spider would only attack out of self defense if provoked.

The boiling water is in the shaft, so it's not in the elevator when you get in, but it will seep in when the elevator reaches it.

The first one is VERY incorrect. You honestly think that an elevator full of mosquitos is just gonna leave you alone? I'd rather go in the spider one, thanks. Sure it might have very deadly venom, but, 1. I could step on it. 2. It probably wouldn't bother me anyway because spiders are pretty cool most of the time.

I would use my shirt to grab the spider and throw it into the mosquito elevator. Then I would ride down the empty elevator in comfort knowing that I did a good deed feeding the spider.

Yes, we can be sure that some of the mosquitos will bite, since they're so many. However, we can't be sure that the spider will attack. Also, it's one small spider. Considering the options, I would totally risk it, pick the spider and try to stomp it to death. There you actually stand a chance (and if you fail it's a quick death)

The first one makes no sense at all. Mosquitoes will most definitely bite no matter what. I thinking the spider one is more practical because if you leave it alone it’s not gonna bite. If you watch Brave Wilderness he handles a black widow and it didn’t even bite so yea 🤷‍♀️👀

Global Adventurer, unless stated otherwise you assume the norm, spiders are not aggressive so unless you or the spider is so huge the two must interact, spider box, ps I was deathly afraid of spiders as a kid, learning them is why i am not arachnophobic. The mosquitos that might bite, will bite, the need the protein for their eggs.

Okay, well for the first one, the first answer is correct. Your logic is kind of off. You say “the mosquitos might not bite you, they may leave you alone” but mosquitos always bite you. One spider will leave you alone if you don’t touch it or move too much... plus it’s a spider. Squish it or something.

Exactly my thoughts. It's never stated that the spider is huge. If it's in a corner you can ignore it, you could squish it easily or you find something to take it out with. There is also an argument to be made for the boiling water one. There is nothing suggesting the water won't cool within time and wouldn't opening the doors let all the water out and clear the elevator...

The 1st and 3rd should be correct because, the spider wouldn't even bite you unless you disturb it so it would just leave you alone unlike the mosquitos, the boiling water would already spilled out into the cabin before the doors open, and when it opens it will all spill out from the cabin already.

Umm in the elvelator u can go down with the spider cause: 1. U can stay calm and spider wont bite unless it feels threatened, 2. u can easily squish the spider, 3. u can take a cup and trap the spider with the cup. How easy is that?! Edit: 4. Let’s think about the first question logically 1. The elevator with the venomous spider Spiders aren’t hostile animals and quite shy. They won’t attack unless threatened. 2. The elevator filled with dangerous mosquitoes Unlike spiders, we are among the animals that mosquitoes do attack. If anything, you’ll be lucky to get through without fainting from blood loss. Besides, if these mosquitoes really are that dangerous, you’ll die before they make the vaccine. 3. The elevator with boiling water in the shaft NO, the water won’t just drain out when the door opens. The water is in the SHAFT, not the cabin (where you are). However, as you’re going down, the water will start to leak and eventually fill the elevator. The first elevator would be the safest choice, but it’s your life. Please don’t go to the top floor of a skyscraper before it’s about to be demolished

For the 1st question, if you open the 3rd door, wouldn't the water fall out? And for the 1st door, spiders usually just mind their own business. As for 2 there are hundreds of mosquitos, and it's likely 1 will bite you, as mosquitos like to bite humans, as for spiders, they just mind their own buisness.

The one of the elevator escape ( the choice of boiling water ), is also an alternative, because if you open the door, you just protect yoursellf with something, and let the water get out of the elevator, then you enter to it. Exactly. The next thing is, if all the mosquites are infected, you'll probably recieve so high load od pathogen that you can be quite sure, you'll really become ill and with quite bad starting point in addition. Because more than one mosquite will probably bite you. And I somehow haven't got that information about vaccine. I thought passive immunization isn't called vaccine, that vaccine is just the name for an active immunization. And how is that relevant for you if you're already infected? They should speak about cure or that passive immunization, shouldn't they?

NichoBeastMode yeah these are horrible the first one the it is almost guaranteed that the mosquitos will bill bite and you will probably die but the spider would only attack if provoked also it’s only one the second is also wrong because while it seems like the only choice humans are also animals and you don’t know how far the tunnel is so you would have to hold your breath and hope that it isn’t absorbed into the skin

For the first one I'd have picked the spider. They made mention that there was only one spider and, like most insects and animals, if left unprovoked wouldn't bite. For question 1, I'd go with the spider instead. There are many mosquitos, but only one spider, so if we assume they bite randomly, you're much more likely to get bitten if you go with the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes would bite you without provocation because they want blood, whereas the spider would only bite if it felt threatened.

There's no way I wouldn't get bitten by the mosquitos. How is it a good idea to get bitten by several of them instead of walking into the elevator with the spider? Sure, it's deadly but a spider doesn't bite "just because". It could just leave you alone like the mosquitos could. Besides.. crushing 1 spider compared to a full elevator of mosquitos to me seems like better odds.

Agree, also mosquitos need to feed on mammalian blood, the spider doesn't. They are far, far more likely to bite than the spider, who would most likely hide in a corner, and wait for you to leave.

Actually in the elevator crisis as the third elevator is filled with boiling hot water as soon as the doors opens the water will flow out .... so it's safe to go into
