A game that requires focus, speed and attention to detail. Everything Fooster has extreme difficulty with. He's easily distracted, likes to spend half the time talking about random thoughts he's having and can't sit still long enough or shut up long enough to listen to the game. This should be interesting 😂

The movie you were saying this game reminded you of is Don’t Breathe, and I had the exact same thought. The developers have laid the foundation for an absolute masterpiece of a game. The voice acting, the graphic style, storyline… all grade A. I wasn’t even playing, but I could feel my anxiety rising, which is a tell of a great game. Devs should be proud. ❤

Ahhh! The Myth, the legend, the Fooster!

The directional antenna allows you to track the signal by it's strength. It'll allow you to teack where the kidnapper is transmitting from. This really is a cool idea for a game.

This was legitimately so good, I am genuinely impressed, it wasn't just some Taken ripoff. I wasn't even playing the game and it got my heart racing as well, hopefully the rest is of this level of quality storytelling, I personally wouldn't be as picky about the mechanics if the story beats stay this good. It's weird because I'm sure most of us have read or watched a story like this before, at least something similar, but the way it's told, the voice acting, the tension, I don't know why but it absolutely got me invested and immersed right away, fantastic job to everyone involved in the making of this!

We absolutely need to see you playing this on release. This is so much your style of game. Would fit you perfectly!

Later in the full game you can use the signal strength as a way to find out where the kidnapper ist. With full signal strenth you know the direktion do that at 3 different points and where the lines intersect the signal comes from.

dates a detective, gets mad that he has a hard job that required a TON of time, leaves him and blames him for it. que the "ha, women" sfm clip joking aside its nice to see unique games like this. Sure its the typical taken/punisher/equalizer type thing but we rarely see this done in games in a unique way that isn't just run and gun. Plus the idea of being actually timed properly and not having to follow instructions whilst also sneaking what tiny bit of info you can is impressive

Sneaking around the house gives off the Alien Isolation/Outlast vibe and ngl, that sudden knife attack got me (which that made me remember seeing it from the jumpscare compilation video!)

The sad truth about a situation like this is that the kidnappers have zero reason to actually return the family, or even leave the main character alive if they can help it. In fact letting them go would just generate loose ends, no matter how careful they tried to be. They would keep the wife and daughter alive as long as needed to be able to prove they are alive, but that's it. So, the MC's only chance to rescue them would be to find and surprise the kidnappers before they get what they want and are aware of his "betrayal". I can only imagine one reason why they would let the family live and it's pretty out there: the kidnappers are actually the good guys and they are forcing the MC to uncovered a conspiracy within the government. So, the MC would actually join their side voluntarily before the end, upon learning all the secrets. They would just need to force him to do all this by using such ruthless methods. Pretty much impossible in RL, but it could work in fiction.

I think the directional antenna isn't for better signal....it's probably going to be for the purpose of tracking down who has your family. read the document.

i'ii be honest, the beginning with the table i was like, if you know your family is kidnapped and they left something for you, you run the F away and contact the police station, even IF you listen to the demands of the other, there is no garantee your family will be alive at the very end
