This bag he built works fine for anyone getting 400'+ reliably (as in: 8 out of 10 on the actual course, not 1 in 5 with a distanceflex) which where I live include most intermediate players if they are physically fit. True rec players and intermediate players who compensate a lack of athleticism with more finesse might need to dial down some of these choices. Personally for Rec I would go with fewer discs. Mid/putter categories can blend into eachother more and the only category that needs a complete stability range is the fairway drivers. For a Rec player maxing out at 325' I'd say the Westside sword is the distancedriver (2 of them, the X-plastic Erica Stinchcomb and the Tournament plastic one). I'd ditch both evaders for a goldline explorer as well as it's easier on players with lower armspeed. Definately keep at least 1 maverick OR swap out for the Escape (I personally prefer Maverick but I haven't bagged either in a long time). Fury is a great roller disc but I personally prefer to throw a Seer in tournament plastic for the really silly big hyzer => big turnover finesse shots in the woods or when I need something to stay flippy when going severely uphill. As for the mids my Fuse is my most used disc but it's tricky getting a good one in regular opto plastic, I believe the gold-ice he picked might be more consistent (look for the slight dome that provides the extra stiffness when you push your thumb down, the soft flat-top optos are too flippy and won't ever flatten out of a turn. The X-plastic ones are all stiff enough but the first McCray teamseries fuse I got has too much dome, I believe it's a 2018 the later ones are all fine). Keep the emac truth in there as well. You probably won't use the clemons verdict or the justice for anything except approaches which kindof competes with the slammer so I'd say keep justice and slammer for trickshot utility and approach consistency and leave the verdict out. I like an opto pure for my straight putter throws and for flippy+floaty trickshots I throw a Bite (the Bite is large enough that a putter can fit inside of it so you get 2 discs in the bag for the space of 1).

@@Flakzor123 This pretty much sums me up. Rec player that's been playing for couple of years maxing out at 300-325'. I do not throw any 12 speeds at all, best I throw now is an 11 speed grace. Wondering your thoughts on the sword for a distance driver as a 12 speed for a rec player only throwing 325'? I have read others recommending the sword also, but just curious on your thoughts here. Also you recommended two different plastics. I do not know anything about westside plastic, but guessing one is more stable then the other for this mold?

@@justingunderson3296 since you already have the grace you don't need a 12 speed at all to be honest. The Sword has been a very good disc for easy distance for many years because its so much easier to throw decently than any other distancedriver (it really doesn't want to fade out early even if thrown by a noodlearm), there are a few comparisonvideos on the plastics so yea the stability is the main difference. I'd say my Erica Stinchomb sword is almost identical to my first run Grace in stability. My old TP sword is noticably more understable. Edit: If you actually want something flippy see if you can find a special edition Captain instead... might be hard I think they only did one run when launching that disc.

Yea he's a good dude. I live in his area and I see him out on the course a lot when he's in town. He's always talking to people and is active in the local scene even though him and Chris are the only two around here who are any good.

Pro discs are so good... reliable fade is key for consistency, but sure youll lose distance

Is that a usual thing with DD or is he just picking out the specific ones that are like that? Only DD disc I've got is a judge.

A Firebird is 9/3/0/4. And the Trespass has numbers between a Destroyer and an XCaliber No one would call either of them a "stable-neutral" disc. I'm gonna take a wild guess that you are forehand dominant?
