The tarot cards that came up were really telling but no one there knew how to read them lol; the King of Pentacles is the person haunting that room - an older man, well established, paternalistic and caring, wise. The next set of cards was: 8 of cups - needing or wanting to move on but not being able to, or wandering and trying to find “what you’re looking for” but not being able to find that so you keep meandering aimlessly. 4 of cups - being bored or otherwise dissatisfied with the situation at hand but somehow complacent and therefore, stuck in the moment (sounds a lot like a spirit who is trapped and unable to “move on” and find peace so far doesn’t it?) - 6 of cups represents the past and not being able to let go of the past; being so attached to what was that we are reliving an echo of melancholy for what used to be, unable to accept what is and move on (again, sounding a lot like what would happen to a spirit who is trapped lol.) 6 of cups also can represent children though and I get the sense that this King of Cups ghostie might actually be a sort of protector for some of the children ghosts on this ship? Maybe that’s part of what keeps him bound to this place.
