It's interesting how simple it is to care for dry skin, yet the cosmetics industry made it look like rocket science.
I've seen beauty gurus use 11 skincare products on themselves only to make their dry skin appear worst.
So ... I hope this video will help you achieve the perfect pout you've always wanted.

dude, I got dry ass skin with deep-set prominent eyes AND dark under-eye circles that have just gotten progressively worse in my 20's. I do not feel lucky in any way 😭

I love underrated makeup artists. I've always found overrated/popular artists less useful than underrated ones. You focus on the minority types while the popular ones focus on aesthetic/trendy looking ones. For people who's face features are not trendy/aesthetic, they really need you. You & wayne goss has just become my Favourite. Wish you utmost success in your efforts for us

You are so right. Several months back, I decided to go old school and have been using Pond's Cold Cream and a warm washcloth to wipe it off to wash my face with and Ponds Dry Skin Cream as a moisturizer and sometimes I use Nivea cream instead. I am SHOCKED at how good my skin looks. My face is plumper and my wrinkles look filled in. I look 10 years younger, no joke. I am so mad at having spent so much money over the years on expensive creams that did NOTHING!!!! The only issue I have now is finding the right foundation that will work with the oil based Ponds and Nivea and other makeup products. Please give us some suggestions in your next video. Would love that. But I have to say that everything you said in this video is true true true!!!

So cool to see such feedback! 😍 I experimented with Estee Lauder’s Double Wear. It is a very dry foundation, but a tiny bit over Nivea gave great results. Though, it is a big difference if one has dry skin or dehydrated. It works for dry skin, but not dehydrated where it travels into wrinkles. Still … Don’t buy it straight. Rather try it on the counter.

@@AdviseMyStyle Thank you for responding. I love your channel. You're an amazing artist! I do have the Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid and have been using it for years. It really is a good one although I find that it oxidizes. The one I've been using now is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum coverage because I have some hyperpigmentation to hide. I've been mixing in a very small amount of the Ponds Dry Cream moisturizer to thin it out a bit and it's been ok. But I'm always on the lookout for better foundations to use with these oil based creams. BTW, you might be interested to know that the Nivea cream is a dupe for the La Mer moisturizer. It's the same ingredients except the La Mer adds some marine algae type of ingredients to theirs. Nivea is a lot cheaper than La Mer!!!!

Having combination skin on the face seems to be the worst of both worlds :( especially when my face seems to have suddenly changed its type once I turned 20 so now I'm unsure on how to handle it But with respect to dry skin, I feel like drinking water is something doctors and skin care professionals and even our own mothers have said over and over but we don't really pay attention to it as much as we should. My dry skin used to be pretty bad, and I had to use the heaviest creams twice a day just to get my skin looking normal. However, once I consciously made the effort to start drinking around 3 litres of water a day (I used to barely drink 1.5 before) my dry skin has gotten better by leaps and bounds, and even my acne has cleared up. My skin has genuinely never been healthier! I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I absolutely agree with what you say in your videos about how what you put in your body is as important or probably more important than what you put on your skin, and just advise anyone coming to the comment section on a habit that's super easy to incorporate and guarantees results :)

Suscribed today and loving all the videos I've seen so far. You are so right about cleansing once a day and removing makeup with oily products. I had dry skin and acne. I changed my diet (healthy fats, lots of veggies, some fruits, lemon water everyday for vitamin C and celery juice to detox the liver), as you explained in another video, skincare is really about what you eat as well. I also started removing makeup with Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil. I mosturize with Nivea and Eucerin and SPF. It made wonders for my skin! I'll keep on watching and liking. Nice content. Hi from Mexico City! 🇲🇽

Agree with all said in the video. I myself am lucky not to have dry skin. However, i had oily skin in my youth and now that is gone. Therefore i try not to get too many wrinkles by washing my face ONLY with water and i put baby cream or anti-wrinkle cream only on my wrinkles. And i remove makeup with oily products.

I use the CeraVe dry moisturizing lotion for dry skin and the CeraVe hydrating cleanser for dry skin and my skin still feels VERY dry that I use 2 layers of the CeraVe moisturizing lotion because it feels so dry that it annoys me cause it makes my face stiff😭

Oh my … Yes … Not that active on RU-vid anymore. 🙈 Still thinking what to do with it, because women are searching for “natural looking makeup” less and less. 🤔
