As someone who hates too many episodes, it’s not just cause I have a life, it’s cause my attention span is so short and I get tired of long things easily

I hate when they don't have enough "filler" episodes, and when there's just so much action or fight scenes. I mostly get invested in things for the characters and plot, so I love when it actually slows down and shows them just hanging out and having fun, on the other hand,if it's all fighting and explosions and what-not, it's impossible for me not to zone out because I usually just don't care. Get to the plot already!

As someone who hates harems I actually hate it because I'd rather see the protagonist accomplish things without having to waste a whole ass season on a love interest Edit: this doesn't apply to romance animes obviously

That one guy who is obsessed with his anime waifu is the weirdest

My least favorite thing about certain anime is that MVPerry doesn't mention them in his videos.

In my opinion, a good amount of episodes for an anime is about 10-26. Long enough, but not so long that you're gonna get bored. Of course, it totally depends on the show, though.

I think with the shy protagonist thing, it might be the same thing with, ‘But you’re the one who’s watching anime all day.’

Honorable mention, being Bad Ending: ''You spent all this time watching the show, only for it to end in a bad way. So now you end up writing a fanfic, just for a better ending, plus expanding on the story and characters.'' Why are you guys looking at me?

Honestly I love all animes but this had some really relatable points 😂

The two main ones are Tsunderes because like MVPerry said, I have not clue how someone who verbally and physically abuses you, can be cute. Second one is the Harems. Specifically isekai Harems because they are literally all the same. The mc gets reincarnated with op abilities, fights off dragons and demons, a girl who has a crush on the mc tags along and they go on a long journey just to find more girls that wants to tag along. I get that it is a harem, but like, you can still spice it up a little. I like reverse Harems batter, mainly because the mc isn't immediately op at the very start. Also, anime boys are not usually as annoying at anime girls.

What I don't like about anime is whenever there's just too much talking, especially voice overs. Whether it's for exposition, or flashbacks, and especially when a character says what he/she is feeling in a voice over. It's always refreshing whenever an anime decides to instead just let the animation do all the talking. It's mostly a pet peeve, so I still enjoy anime with it, but I would really love it if more anime had more visual storytelling.

There’s a certain anime I watched where the two main characters were literally about to die then a kinda long filler came ._.

The only time I’m okay with anime characters explaining their abilities during a battle is if it’s a JoJo battle, because their abilities are so complex, specific, and just overall confusing.

As someone who loves anime openings and endings, i never skipped them. But i knew someone who watch anime and skip them, and everytime they skip it, i'd be silently judging, especially if it's a good song

I hate cliffhangers..so i started reading the manga..BUT EVEN THAT HAS CLIFFHANGERS-

As for the sub and dub anime part, I watch both the first episodes in sub and dub to see which one sounds better, and I choose that one

Why i hate: Power of friendship: cliché Harem:all feel the same. Shy protags: eh, who cares, character development will help Toxicity: they're the reason why some animes get bad rep Almost kiss: never bothered me, it's funny when it's predicted Tsunderes: cliché Yanderes: do they make them these days? Fanservice: as long as it happens in a way that makes sense sure. It's annoying when the anime goes "hey, you see that girl? Boom, she's naked now!" Explaining moves: SUPER BORING CLICHE SMASH! Child looking adults: heights, they're weird. Cliffhangers: gotta get people talking somehow Dub or sub: i watch both, if anime takes place in Japan sub if outside of Japan dub. Beach episode: depending on the anime, the reason is different. Take You're Under Arrest for example, police business, regulating traffic. Gintama... Yeah Fight scenes taking ages: yeah.... Boring Long titles: i just memorize the long titles just to flex Skipping anime ops: i strictly watch the opening at least twice, first and last episode. I skip the rest. Gatekeeping: see toxicity

I hate overreaction in anime or when a character tries to kill the other as a joke

Does anybody know an anime where the main characters use the power of friendship but gets wrecked?

It always feels weird watching a dub in a language that I don't normally speak to a series originating from a language that I don't speak either. It don't have the same "awkward middle stage" feel to it when it's just sub. Almost nothing in my country is dubbed (besides kids show), so there's always a 50% chance that I will hear a foreign language and read subtitles if I watch anything.

This was so accurate the moment my family walks in their is a lot of fan service on the tv 😅😂

0:37 - Sometimes mainly with weird clashes like Sci-Fi Thriller going into a more normal version of School Days 0:55 - Rent a Girlfriend Mami was the topic 1:41 - This is not exclusive to Anime or Anime like things (Glue Storm in BTD6 is another example) 1:50 - Similar Story to 0:37 in Like when I was watching World's End Harem I was reading the subtitles of how the UW did their thing and reading subtitles during those shots felt weird 2:01 - Sailor Moon (90s) Subbed to the point where I muted after the OP 2:06 - To put it lightly Makoto Itou especially his 2007 Anime and Cross Days Manga self shouldn't be here 2:31 - School Days has a lot of these and the methods used would had made Craster Proud so seeing those in that series just reminds me of how vile Makoto's Father was so that caption is relatable 2:39 - Confusion is indeed correct 2:59 - I feel weird when it's Subtitles + Fanservice Scene (Especially when the attraction is where the Subtitles would be read at) 3:07 - 100% Agrees 3:20/4:00 - Not an Anime example but this actually made me stop watching Game of Thrones towards the end of S5 3:25 - Another's was a Nice Boat, K-On's caught me off guard 3:57 - This was exactly why I was so hesitant on anything related to the Chainsaw Man Anime (I just now have an idea of my favorite girl in that show I'm leaning towards Power after 6 Episodes) 4:00 - Most of the time yes but there were some rare moments where it got me to continue watching a show (Mentally preparing for Higehiro Episode 9 was one since I knew it was going to be bad but I needed to know how bad) 4:15 - Kyubey from Madoka 4:39 - Shimoneta 4:41 - I mostly watch one Episode's OP sequence then come back to them later on like RU-vid

These are mostly relatable but what is most relatable for me is Spoilers, Favorite character dying and weird ships are what mostly triggers me Especially spoilers

I hate fanservice because it’s unnecessary & shows how the author doesn’t know how to keep his audience interested or he’s just gross.

Too many episodes make me lose interest actually, and after starting uni I only get the weekends to watch some anime. And yesterday I watched "Eternal Boys", its a really good anime, but I wish the eps were at least 20mins long.

Certain art styles. Those will put me off an anime so quick. It's why I haven't watched many popular ones

Lol yup I hate weird ships. It’s so true I only ship the obvious ones. I only care about ships when there’s actually hints that the characters like each other. Which is why the MHA fandom is one of the top worst. It’s sad how good the anime is but the freaking immature toxic community gives it a bed rep.

I usually watch stuff with subtitles for pretty much no reason except to focus better on what's going on. I hate how whenever I watch dubbed with subtitles, the subtitles are different from what they're saying because the subtitle are a direct translation and the dub is basically an abridged version. Pisses me off.

i was once watching an episobe of kurokos basketball and its all normaly basketball but the episode my mom walked in one was the one at the hot spring and almost every one was partialy naked and my mom had to walk in on that episode, of all the episode to walk in on it had to be that one

Umm, I watch anime and somehow I still do a lot of these.

When flashbacks are done right, they are emotionally charged moments that enhance a character's development and/or the tone of the scene. But too many flashbacks can be REALLY ANNOYING. I love My Hero Academia, it's probably my favorite anime of all time, but if I have to watch Deku recall that time he saved Bakugo from a sludge monster ONE MORE TIME I might just lose it.

Even as a guy, I hate perverts in anime. They just make me cringe so much.

I don't like filler episode when it doesn't have any comedy scenes, flashbacks sometimes bored me. I don't like side character's flashbacks in One Piece but it has some comedy scenes in filler episode

This makes sense my favorite anime is MHA, but my least favorite fandom is it as well

half of these i can relate to

1. I have problems with full on flashback episodes. I don't mind filler (I watched original Naruto without skipping any episode except flashbacks. Did not know what filler was and don't really care if it feels natural) but when you have a story that you could have been told much faster, there is no need for a whole episode that is a flashback. 2. My ex was kind of a tsundere towards me before we dated. She tried to attack me, and I nearly kneed her in the face on accident. I Don't have problems with tsunderes 3 stepbro and stepsis thing does not bother me. Its meh. (Just to give you something to think about I have a stepsister and she used to have a crush on me. Her brother kept making fun of her for that for a while) 4 I don't have a problem with adults who look like children because I am from a family where we all look much younger than we actually are. Supposedly in Japan it's not uncommon. Other way around you can see everywhere. 5 I for some reason don't like anime in Japanese. I can watch movies, tv shows and play games in Japanese, but anime just does not work for me that way.
