how's free time during ait ? i was told i could live with my husband during ait but im not so sure about it after doing research, he's in bootcamp now, but if free time is often id still move around the area so he could spend time with me and our child
Thanks for the information bro, I just have a question though… I live near Fort Gordon already, so it’s kinda cool that I get to come to basic training where I live at, but will I be able to stay even after basic training? Or is there somewhere you can be stationed near it? I know where they put you is random since they put you where they need you, but what I’m really asking is staying at Fort Gordon an option?
Your right it's the needs of the Army but, when you arrive to your first duty station speak to retention about going back to Ft.Gorden they can make it happen.
@@truepanameno hi i just enlisted recently and I chose 25U solely for all the certifications my recruiter told me I would get will you be getting certifications at all or im just slightly confused now !!thanks in advance (:
@@laciekoa congratulations on your enlistment. As far as getting certifications when you get to your unit you will be able to apply for all the certifications you want, with out paying anything out of pocket. Your Commander just have sign off on it.
@@laciekoa Yes when you go to your unit you will have to take a online class again then. Then go in person to take another 2 week class then you will be able to take the test for the certification of your chosing.
As for promoting in RANK like E-1 to E-2 etc, in the first 3 ranks in the army you rank up every year, unless you qualify for a promotion earlier, and after that point, you wait 2 years to get promoted to E4, then you go to leadership training and past that point im sure you are promoted off of contribution and performance. If i am wrong please correct me
