Been doing Thailand for 20 years for work (hi tech mfg) and for me it was always simple 1) No province girls! 2) College educated 3) Middle class and above (no bread winners.). The city is teeming with them but 99.9% of the guys either 1) don't wanna put in the work 2) want the quick lay 3) are too ugly to get anything but any of the bar girls. The difference in quality of girls at a place like BKK Social Club or Vepers vs a place like Sugar (mostly hookers) is staggering. Even Thonglor would be a massive upgrade. Who you surround yourself with says everything about you.... that goes for the expats you hang with as well as the girls you date. Overall a decent channel. I hope you focus more on non hooker/beerbar areas of nightlife... the cocktail and upscale bar scene in BKK is world class. The music and jazz scene is nice with an up and coming hiphop scene. BKK is becoming a decent tech hub so interviews with some Thai entrepreneurs would be dope. Maybe some Thai diaspora coming back to Thailand to start businesses. There's already a million channels that have done nana/cowboy/beer bars and pattaya to death. Good luck. BTW... you know "One Night in BKK" is a song about a chess tournament right? :)
Agree with your mentality and a lot of what you said. It's true, a lot of people come here and never get outside of the "Sukhumvit bubble." We will talk about other places as you mentioned, but at the same time there's nothing wrong with places like Sugar for a fun night out. I don't think this channel will focus on tech people or entrepreneurs but agree there is a lot more to this city than Nana Plaza and beer bars. That is why I love Thong Lor ( I live here ), the quality of people you meet here/there are pretty good, foreigners and locals, but also you can encounters scammers and sex workers, but No always. I've meet interesting group of Thai people educated abroad with world wide vision.
I know that Nanny has since parted with the Italian gentleman but she seems to be a very lovely lady and I am sure that she will find great happiness in life with a good man. The one thing that I want Thai women to understand about western men is that we want to behave as gentlemen and open the door for our lady and treat her with love and respect BUT this does not mean that we are weak or simps as the western women accuses western gentlemen of being.
I am coming to bkk in 1 week to meet nice thai lady from Surin. I appreciate the direct honest sweetness of the ladies. I am sure there are many pitfalls to meeting a good thai but i am also sure if you a e very good guy it helps the process. Starting with not too younger woman & & maybe a lady that has a job a life & something you can both add to each others lifes. Thai life has changed alot in last 10yrs from when i there last. Its not 3rd world & i do not consider a thai woman or man any less than myself,just different & maybe the cultural difference is actually a great & colourful benefit to my life.

As an expat in Thailand for 20 years, also a non drinker and never using sex workers.... I find the comments around Khao San, Nana and Cowboy weird. Khao San is for backpackers, not a night-life zone. Expats that have been here a decade plus would choose Cowboy over Nana everytime. Nana is for Tourists same as Patpong. Cowboy is where most expats go. We have lost some great clubs leading into Covid. Bed Supperclub. Q Bar.
I mostly agree with you, although I think Khao San has become more popular among young expats since covid. Nana was always a tourist hell-hole to me. And agree more of the “locals” hang around soi cowboy and often use it as a meetup point before going out or something like that.
@OneNightinBangkok_ I only go to Cowboy if friends are in bkk and ask to go. I would never go in there unless coerced. Khao San is still the "Land of the Great Unwashed".... I was unfortunately dragged there last year. Couldn't get out fast enough. Showered twice when I got home. 😂😂
From my experience, many of them like telling lies! eg. I’m coming/on the way; asking money for urgent matters. But it is not true, just a lie. And many of them don’t like to work, even they money for rental fee, instalment! But I know still have many good Thai girl, for me, “telling lies” is so bad! It is obliterate the trust between people!
Well as Thai, I think you met lowlife Thai woman who lazy Mostly concentrate in Bar or Red light area Most of decent women who work hard that you can easily find in 7-11

apart of language barrier, there is an understanding of the world barrier, they grow up with very little or NONE knowledge of the outside world, before starting the hate comments. Ask to a Thai worker ( no from the tourist industry ) If they knew there is a language called French, another Italian, another Greek, another Spanish. Probably, they think/know there is Thai, English, Chinese and another languages
I would rate my self 7/10 or on good day 8/10. I am 28 and well build brown guy from Australia. I struggle to pick quality girls in clubs like route69 or space plus yet the chinese or koreans dude 6/10 with no English picks the quality girls. Never understood how

No offense-This girl is good looking by bangkok standards-- But!! This girl speaks very bad english. Having been to Bangkok numerous times, If I approach this girl in a public place and she speaks like this, I usually just walk away pretty fast and dont even ask for her line......why? Because there are MANY girls in the city of Bangkok that speak much better english. I tend to gravitate to those english speaking women..This girl's english is representative of thai women found in smaller hub cities like Hua Hin and Phuket...Been to both of those cities as well.. Met some Stunning women in Hua hin but the english is lacking so I moved on up back to Bangkok..
I disagree. Yes, of course she is not completely fluent in English but she does communicate pretty well, especially for those of us who have lived here for a while. If you think her English is bad for a woman in Bangkok, I have a suspicion most of the women you meet are either extremely educated or hanging out in the Sukhumvit area.
correct. I tend to gravitate towards women who have been to Bangkok university or have previous work experience in dealing with english speaking foreigners.. But NOT those type of girls found in soi cowboy or Nana plaza.. Those girls make horrible girlfriend material ..UNLESS you have a big enough bankroll to "buy " them out of NOT having to go back to the Bars to make a living. I met a german guy in the hotel lobby(in sept 2023) that was soooo smitten by this cute little Bar girl he met at Nana.She was 24, He was 42. He came right out and asked her" you like me or not'?..She said " I only know you , 3 days, but yes".. So HE says" how much money for you to not have to boom boom, with any more customers at the bar you work?" She replied "100,000 baht EACH MONTH"..He didnt even negotiate with her. He just said "done DEAL".. He also bought a condo(in his name only, of course) for her to stay for free.. ...I did some research on his name....Turns out he was some Top company CEO for mercedes Benz based in Germany. He told me he makes close to $360k usd per year..If thats true---he could easily afford to pay her this amount. We will see if they are still together in a year from now, as I still have his contact info on my phone.@@OneNightinBangkok_

Had to laugh about the visit to Buriram. She obviously didn't take him to the many bars or the two main entertainment areas, obviously knows the competition here. Obviously it is not Pattaya but where do you think one of the main areas the girls come from for Phuket, Pattaya and BKK? Oh simple to know a good quality woman, she has a degree, she works in the govt or a big business, earns 15 to 20k a month in Isaan and the like, or 40 to 60k a month or more in BKK. If not then could well be a lovely woman but maybe has children, sometimes hidden from you. Always remember you can take the woman out of a bar, but can you .... 😁.
