Yes, we've visited a couple of times, the last being late in the 2021. These improvements seem to have "popped up" overnight. :)

Nassau is actually a fun port, with some resturants with great food, an excellent pirate museum just a few blocks away... but man these upgrades are iimpressive. The last time I was there most of the port was closed for construction. seeing it all completed looks amazing.

Thank you for this updated video! Everything I’ve heard so far is “don’t get off the ship in Nassau” but I really want to at least get a souvenir or magnet. Seems like I should be able to get there without being bothered by some pushy people near the port.

I literally just got back from Nassau. This was my first time going. And I’ll say the same thing… DONT DO IT. If you do have to get off, go to the new gift shop area. Super touristy though. If you go over to Bay Street where all the main stores are outside of the fence, you’ll get hounded and badgered beyond belief. They won’t tell you how much anything is if you ask. At least now I know for next time.

Great tour. Quick shoutout, are the food vendors serving caribbean, Bahamian food? The museum looks great , is there a entrance charge? I use to get my passport stamped next to the cruise ship pier, is there a spot at the new pier to do this? Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing this.

Wow, I was in Nassau Bahamas last June 2022, on RCCL, freedom of the seas and the port looked nothing like this. Is this cruise port for all cruise lines? This is beautiful.

That’s changed since I was there at Xmas. Nassau though isn’t a great destination. Was there on Xmas morning at 10 am and as we walked into the town near the roundabout, some guy on a bar patio was shouting at me and the kids from over the road ‘Come over, let’s get f****d up! Let’s get f****d up’. Kids found it funny but hardly your traditional Christmas morning greeting.

xmas morning in my opinion isn't a great place to be in ANY destination. Everyone including locals want to be with their family. Would you do a xmas cruise again,? I've never done one..

I don't recall any vendors inside the port, but if you walk out and walk along the water as if you're headed to Senior Frogs, you will find them right before the restaurant.

I just got back from there. And yes, they have drinks inside coconuts at one of the vendors close to the ship $25 a piece. Or $15 in a regular cup.
