I just want to put a native Georgian's thoughts out here. I appreciate your work. I really do. But what irritates me the most is the bulldozing of native forestry and greenery to turn into crappy subdivisions. I spent four years growing up in Spalding County in the 80's while my parents were on a mission. (I spent the rest of my childhood in the mtns) While it is still mostly rural I fear that the lush green forest and the muddy banks of the Flint River will be gone in a few decades. Just look at what's happening to Fayette County. It destroys rural communities culture and replaces it with transplants. If I could, I would impose a moratorium on any new development in these counties: Spalding Meriwether Pike Lamar Henry Walton Cherokee Bartow Paulding Carroll Barrow
Good video. I especially appreciated what you said about people trying to “win” in the deal. I much prefer a transaction where both the seller and buyer walk away satisfied.
The architecture of homes in Florida and GA are largely influenced by topography, landscapes, climate and even historical roots. For example in GA, the homes are more European inspired because it was an English Colony named after King George ll. Florida on the other hand was largely inspired by Spain and was a Spanish colony.
