If you go into thepost office to drop off a sale...wait in line and get a receipt because it will be marked as received....and you have a receipt to prove when it was dropped off.

Most post offices limit the # of packages they will scan at the window . This is why you dont see businesses standing in line with tons of packages.

The UK has a free collection service and they scan them at the door which marks them as 'In-Transit' before they even reach the mail depo. Very useful!

Chinese e-commerce typically requires orders to be in transit within 48 hours. Because there are people in China working overnight to prepare shipments, the orders are dispatched with remarkable speed. Additionally, someone will come to pick up all your shipments at your door early in the morning, so you don't have to visit the post office for that. We also have more options (logistic agencies) for shipping as well. However, I believe TikTok should adjust its policy according to different markets, shipment periods, and habits to make the process less stressful for everyone.

I was approved for TikTok shop but decided against it because all of my products are handmade (skincare) and I just heard so many bad stories about people having problems with the Post Office scanning your packages and then people were getting refunded but their orders were actually mailed causing losses for the business owners,

Don’t give up hope. I do the same. I make bath salts and essential oil rollers. But I’ve made a few batches in advance and listed the inventory. They WILL, however, flag you and threaten to remove your stuff if it’s under 20 in stock. I recently lied and said I had 33 off exiting so they don’t remove it for only having 19 😒

Yeah that's a nightmare! I would have expected better treatment to the sellers right out the gate. The biggest problem on these third-party marketplaces is how horrible they treat the sellers. This sounds much more worse than other places. It really should be tiered in how they treat sellers - rewarded with some kind of leniency. They treat sellers like the criminal when scammer buyers try to get stuff for free.

It looks like they updated the Fulfillment policy as of 11/21 stating if seven business days have passed since the order date and the order is not in "Ready to Ship" status or the tracking info is not uploaded to seller center, tiktok will automatically cancel the order. I am guessing this is the 3 day window you were talking about?

I have an Amazon product and 2 books, and just connected then to TikTok. I haven’t figured out how to sell on tt yet, but am wondering if Amazon is in charge of shipping, what if they don’t ship within 3 days (since prime is getting slower and slower). 🤷‍♀️ Also, what fees does titkok charge? Amazon takes so much and I’ve had to run ads, which basically take away any profit. 😢

Thank you so much for making this video. I have been going through hell trying to everything setup. I'm doing it by myself btw. I've setup about 7 shopify websites before so I figured I could do tiktok shop. But the problem I'm running into is the trademark certificate and the business license. I have a 90 temp license while I wait for the official copy. I submit the temp license and now my shop is deactivated. I have printy on demand service and a I have lots of original designed items. Do were really need to have trademark certificate?

Girl!!! You forgot to mention how you have to choose one or the other for shipping. Either shipping with tiktok Platform OR shipping by seller. We can’t select the shipping for each item😩 that hurt my soul. I wanted to dropship some sh*t and they told me to refrain from doing so😒 meanwhile many ppl DROPSHIPPING on there now 😒. I wanted to use tiktok platform for my in house stuff and use shipped by seller providing the tracking once the drop ship order was in transit😒

That doesn't make sense to me. If it's shipped at all they shouldn't be refunding items - seems sketch to me. Basing scores on shipping makes more sense to me - like shops have badges or scores or whatever based on fast shipping but tiktok automatically refunding items that HAVE been shipped seems like a dick move lol. I haven't gotten a tiktok shop just because of that. I have a full-time job on top of my business and most of my sales are wholesale, but Etsy has plummeted in sales/views so I was thinking tiktok shop might be useful. But nope, not if they have unrealistic shipping expectations with auto refunds if you can't get it INTO the USPS system fast enough - I mean, I'd get it if it was USPS label being created because shit happens but damn.

Set up is fairly self explanatory, i had no issues on my end. I haven’t used the free advertising yet but will test some out to see! I know they offer rewards like that for uploading videos and making a certain number of sale! I’d recommend using whatever account you already have to sell on!

Yeah they are terrible. I got frozen while I was still setting it up and they won't tell me what I did. I don't even think the shop was open yet. I was just trying to connect my account to the shop and was getting confused cause the directions are vague. Now they are making it really difficult to fix the issue.

Seems like people are better off being an affiliate or like you said having the inventory ready to ship..but unfortunately for me I’m using print on demand and I just started my TikTok shop, I wish I would’ve seen this video sooner lol…so far with TikTok I can’t even post a promotional paid video without it being under review for a while and every time I reach out to them it’s like someone is always replying with a script instead trying to solve the problem…after watching your video, using print on demand might be a bad idea and I will probably have to try something else

OMG!!! Thank You for this VIDEO! At 1st RU-vid was OVER Saturated on videos about HOW to GROW on TikTok,,How To Become Rich On TikTok,, Do THIS to Get you VIEWS UP NOW......Its CRICKETS!!!!! NO One is Saying NOTHING you are the 1st Video i have seen in a YEAR even talking about it AT ALL!! LOL!! Thanks for the video super helpful. I just opened my shop and at some point in time I open a Spotify shop, but I haven’t looked at it in a long time. Not really sure how to link up with you. I googled the Order minimum it said 50. Can you set this number even lower to control growth and make sure you are making the turnaround time requirements?

I'm having issues listing my handmade😢 items but see other vendors also posting similar things (AND ITEMS CLEARLY in the prohibited list even) but I'm in violation?? I've used their ai option to help write descriptions etc... they won't help me fix it, how do I go about this? Please help 😢
