Years ago I was fishing Yellowstone Lake for Cutthroat Trout. The weather was horrible but the fish were on fire (almost every cast) and we lost count of the fish we reeled in. We were allowed to keep a few fish if they were under 16 inches and that's where the problem came in. Our smallest trout was 16 1/2 inches and the rest were 18 to 26 inches......lol Name your boat after your daughter!

I like watching your videos when you go fishing for flounder even if you catch small ones keep on going flounder fishing so you can catch the bigger flounder and clean them and cook them I rather see you catch flounder then sharks or the bigger fish 😊
We fish for sauger the same way. When they grab it they just hold on to it. It you raise your rod and it feels like a snag but comes to you. Jerk because it is usually a sager holding it.

You’re so lucky to have flounder. Apparently there aren’t any in North Carolina because they closed our recreational season. No wait… Actually, there’s a ton of flounder here but because of money and politics only the commercial can harvest.
