i test drove a 2015 gt premium and i traded my bolt on 2011 in for it that day. i love the s550. it does feel like a whole new car, it's hard to explain it to people who ask. love the videos man! keep it up 👌
@@philipbowers3671 Well, I certainly have one! I'm not the first/original owner; I'm the second, so maybe they had it custom made. It's all black; exterior, interior and top. I've had it for over a year and still loving it! 🖤
I have had my 17 for about a year I don't have the premium package. Would rather have climate control but it doesn't oh well. My complaints about the car are the small rear view mirrors, lack of a backseat, and to get anything in the backseat the seat does not slide forward as well as tilt like my 06 used to. I will never figure out why Ford didn't do that. Other than that 435 horsepower is plenty and the car handles like a dream and I'm very satisfied with this car
I am shocked at how comfortable the Recaro seats are, I picked mine up in Vegas and it was a 9.5 hour drive home and I have no complaints at all. I couldn't agree with you more on your points of the car.
It was the only car I found in Lightning Blue with Recaro's and everything else I wanted in a 1000 mile radius. I had to jump on it and have love it ever since.
So much content for you to put out lol. I say put out the tail light video, put out the wheel video, then whipple. I am so afraid you are going to regret not getting a dyno or a final run on a track before the whipple .. but man I am stoked for the outcome.
Codeblue I know it's crazy all of it coming together. The issue I had in stock form was clutch protection would kick in even with advancetrac off when using my drag radials. I needed a tune honestly. My best pass was 13.008 on DRs but that was missing fourth gear. If I didn't already roast my street tires I probably would've ran on the crappy pirellis.
I installed my ROUSH SC on my 2016 a few weeks ago. Did the install my self in my garage. One of the happiest days of my life :) :) :). I laid everything out just like you will. Install was very easy. Just very tedious and time consuming. On my car there were only 2 bosses that I needed to shave off instead of 3 in the front cover. The third one was already shaved off. I think on the 2016 they removed that third boss from the front cover. So you will save some time on that :) Then you got the intake boss. Enjoy and make sure you take your time.
Absolutely love the s550. Bought my first car at the age of 20 and its a 2016 ingot silver v6 with manual transmission:). Love the car but am thinking about trading in for a gt and keep it for 10 years lol.
Yeah Jeff, go ahead and show the new wheels and tires before the Whipple. I can't wait to see them. I think it's so great how excited you are with your mustang and these new mods. I am the same way and sometimes can't even sleep if I have something like new LED lights coming the next day. I guess I am obsessed too. Like you, this is one of the most amazing cars I have owned and having people like you modding and showing allow the rest of us to experience what it's like. Is your shop in Florida? I am down in Boca Raton. Looking for a good place to go to do a Cat-Back and maybe a shifter like you got. Keep up the videos!
Eric Nelson thanks Eric, definitely have always had a serious passion for Mustangs, I wish I had documented my s197 like this. I've been patient with this car and now everything is coming together so definitely an insane amount of excitement! As for the shop, eventually I want to get into installs once I can hire a tech, but in the meantime just performance parts.
Your new euro tail lights need plug changed from euro plug to us plug and when installed the turn signal will flash sequential , 2 red and 1 amber. You may want to have the tail lights converted for us spec .
I just Bought a 2017 GT Yesterday.. I will be picking her up this Thursday coming up.. Lightning Blue with 8,909 Miles on her so 9K.. 6 Speed manual.. I was Blown away at the power and comfort of the car it has the performance package too with same wheels...
Getting new wheels is a special deal with any car. Make the video worth it. Andrew put together a good video for the new wheels on the Cobra. Don't rush it. #QUALITY
TheReal NateDogg yeah that's what my thought was, the wheels were a long time coming just like the Whipple it just worked out that they are happening around the same time.
I have a 2015 GT 6 speed manual ............I am not losing anything, it runs faster in corners and a straight line than I will ever drive it hahahaha love it!
I own a 2015 mustang gt premium with the performance package an my car still runs gret an looks like new I love hearing the coyote engine come alive when I start it up but the ones who dont like it our the ones who live near me my car is loud .great video brother. it's going to be hard for me to part with my car but I'm stepping up an moving up to the new shelby gt500 an trading in my gt
I just got my 15 mustang GT premium pre own I been having it for month and I love it is been so far one of my favorite car I won because of power and luxury comfortable and it gets head turns
Hey I love the supercharger setup but for the type of driving and racing I want to do with my 5.0. I want to do the square setup and keep it all motor. I would see what it does stock. Then do what Scott did to his FBO coyote built forged internals. I love have his car sits as well. I have seen some videos on youtube of the smoking tire and I can do a size 18 or 19 inch rim with 295 wide tires all the way around. But I debating getting the premium and performance package because most people spend more money replacing most of the suspension parts. And the base model would probably be better for weight savings. Also looking forward to the whipple install man.
Hey man love the Channel, just had a quick question. I was thinking of buying a pre owned 2015 mustang gt with 37k miles on it..just wanted your honest opinion on if its to much mileage for a pre owned or if you've had any with your mustang GT..im just hesitating because I've heard that mustang GT aren't reliable after 50k miles and I plan to keep mine for a while as a daily.. let me know your opinion! I just subscribed to the channel! thanks again.
Hey there, I just read this today? Did you end up buying that GT? If so, how does it run? ... I may have a chance to buy a 17 manual GT with 55K miles on it for a really good price ($34K).
I had a chance to drive a 2017 Mustang GT in California for a rental car and ever since I love this mustang version even more when I first saw the 15-17. The performance pack is definitely a great option and I love the premium package as well. I have a 2017 F 250 now and will get the Mustang later on.
Just got my first Pony 2015 GT 5.0 Competition Orange Premier....Im in love! I have a question for you How's the ride quality when you dropped this one, and what set up did you go with? Great video and thanks.
Wheels are before the Whipple, but video will be after. I wanted a lighter weight forged option that could fit a wider tire. More info on that coming soon!
Not to make any PP owners or 3.73 owners regretful, but if you plan to go force induction. 3.35 is the way to go. Not only will you be able to put the power to the ground (which will make it faster in real world applications to the 3.73) but you'll maximize top end speed.
God Save America I'm staying with the 3:73 since I'll be running a 28" tire at the track. For the street, we'll see how my new setup does. Let's just say they are some big tires. 😁
Badass car man ! I’m currently considering buying a gt either a 2017 because I heard the gen 2s are better than the gen 3s ? Is this true ? Would you recommend people a 2017 or 2018. Thank you for your reply and keep this content coming !
Hey Jeff, great video... I just picked up a 2015 5.0 convertible.... Which axle back (even muffler delete) or cat back would you recommend that has the least drone in the cab but with a great exhaust note? Thnx in advance
I noticed you, Andrew and Scott are following the mustang fb pages for s550s/coyotes. You should throw a plug up on all of them. Boost your subs a lil bit I'm sure. I like your vids. Feel like you should have more subs lol
I've been subbed for a little while now, but I'm actually just about to sell my 10 GT and upgrade to a 2015-16 GT. I'm so excited, and this video couldn't have come out at a better time. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Great content as always, keep it up. 🤙🏼
SneakerStyles I agree with Jeff I've got a 2015 eco and the difference from my 07 GT is night and day! Only way now that'd I'd get a S197 gen would be if I was planning on a project car/secondary car.
Hey Jeff I just started watching your video and I love every one of them, I have been looking for a 2017 gt premium fully loaded and wanting to put the whipped super charger installed my self if it's ok with you could you do a video while you are doing the installation please that would be greatly appreciated thank you.

hey man I planning on buying a new car and Im looking at 2015 mustangs. I just like the way it looks. I don't plan on racing or anything like that. would you recommend this car for a 22 working guy. I hear a lot people say Mustangs are shit and break down. I can't afford takin my car to the shop every month so I'm nervous about buying one of these. would love to hear ur take. thanks
Hey bro great video. I'm thinking about getting on every soon but I'm reordering if I should sell my bike and buy a mustang or wait two more years and get a 2019. What's the name of this song bro?
My 2015 Pony isnt a performance package. In fact it has the 3:15 year end which means Dale Jarret and the Brown UPS truck beats me ff the line. I think that rear end is going to be an advantage as a daily driver. I wont be racing it on a track. I totally agree with you, after 23,000 miles I cant find anything I dont like. Except the backup light that is useless :). I am getting a Roush 670hp supercharger, that should be enough power
How would you say the Mustangs drive compare to the Camaros? I haven't driven a Mustang yet, only a Camaro when I needed a rental and they luckily only had a Camaro to drive haha. It was super fun and nice to drive, I have no idea what the mustangs are like though! Hopefully one day I can replace my '01 Accord with a Mustang or Camaro.
Jake Smith I had a rental v6 cameo (latest model fantastic v6) and I got a rental ecoboost mustang. I bought a used 15 Gt. camaro is nice but the mustang is just awesome
I got a base I didn't need all the extras tbh got custom red katzkin leather seats on the doors as well went from 255 square stance traded tires and rims from a 2020 mustang (mines a 16 4k miles) now I'm sitting 295 rear and 275 front got a carbon fiber cowl induction hood off another stang for 200 bucks threw in a k&n cold air intake got my SR lowering springs waiting to go on
I want a lot more Torque for 18. If so a Lightning Blue Black Accent Stang will be in my garage with Procharger and long tube headers. In that case I don't think I'll order dual mode exhaust and swap for Mag ride with carbon dash performance package.
Ya gotta drive some modern luxury cars, mate. You won't consider the stang anywhere near luxury again, lol. I'd be curious to your previous cars if this is your favorite. I've wanted a Mustang for quite some time, but other cars always grab my attention.
Yeah, I agree with Jason, it'll be better to do the wheel video first, then you can purely focus on making the editing of the whipple installs a little easier, because, from what I've seen from other installs, it's kind of a bitch.
Yeah, I see where you're coming from but by waiting on the wheel video I won't have to rush it. The Whipple is going to be very time consuming with the addition of filming, but I know it will be worth the extra effort. Even if I have to extend the install time, I'll do it to make the content better for you guys.
What to expect is voodoo on those year Mustangs for me id still go for 2010-2014 since they look more aggressive and have less electrical issues the new ones eeeh they look like pocket knives... and the front just doesnt look that good looks more like a ford focus... i have a 2013 mustang gt and i love it
but yeah the 5.0 modular engine is nice and all but I'm a true old school push rod fan love the cam sound on them but some ppl say that the 5.0 coyote is nothing more but a beef up 2010 4.7
I got a 2021. I went out everyday one weekend and had to fill up on gas each day. I do not regret it a single bit. Each drop of gas that this car burns is well worth it (especially if you're like me and drive it hard)
Just hit 20k. So far I’ve had the rear end replaced because all the seals started leaking a lot, couple body panels came loose , both front struts replaced for clunk, and now the passenger side catalytic converter has broken up and makes my exhaust rattle baddd
Jeff, I am in the market for a 2017-2018. I just what to the dealer and test drive a 17 premium performance pack and loved it but I'm not sure if I should jump on it or wait for the 18. what do you think?
on a side note, its mostly a daily driver to have a little fun with so the minor changes to the 18 I think will make for a better daily option like the lane assist.
Jason Turek I don't think you can go wrong either way. You can save big on 2017 if you go that route and get 0% financing (if qualified) or get a 2018 with the updated looks/features. Whatever you choose don't look back and say what if because they are both great cars.
Jeff Ashton thanks a lot for in insight. I'm going to sleep on it a little bit and maybe see what the fourth of July might bring to the table for dealership deals or incentives. maybe they will do a better deal with trying to make room for 18 stock. But you can't beat 0% finance!
The manual transmission seems to thud and clunk idk if it's just mine or what but it's off putting. 1-3 especially seems to have the most issue. Any help?
Disasterpiece5150 I don't have the best answer but I know when other people drive my car it thuds, but when I do it doesn't. Not very helpful but I would experiment with it. I noticed the 1-2 shift is most prone to it, but the noise seems to be transmitted through the driveshaft.
Its mot anything mechanical. The car is programmed to hold your rpms during the shifts. Thats why it thuds and clunks because the rpms are too high for every next gear
I agree with Brendon but Jeff it maybe worth doing a wheel reveal and euro tail light install video combo that way it'd be just one video drop then 2 with the about the same amount of editing. And if it's able to drop before the whipple install videos or in between the first couple install videos because that would work out video release wise it'll be fine either way
It’s 2022 and I just got a 2016 fastback Gt premium 48K miles.... I love it so far. Wish I would’ve gotten the 2018+ though for the extra HP and 10 speed trans.
@@JoshGRacing other than the AC compressor going out it’s been well, no problems other than that AC unit, no regrets in buying it other than my monthly payment lol
Make sure to get the AC inspected got a 2016 with 19,000 miles and now it’s back in the dealership. The AC core cracked and there was holes found in the lines. (From ford dealership) they repairing it now but still. Had to drive around in 103 degree temps outside.
I heard somebody else say that. I heard the whole dash has to be torn apart and me being in Florida A/c is mandatory, did you get it fixed? Is that a normal issue?
I had exactly the same problem 2 years ago. Lost $2k, out of warranty. Last week a valve spring broke and destroyed the engine. Stock, not mods whatsoever. I cant afford a new engine. Junking the clunker with 86k miles in it.
Most likely the 2015-2017 Mustang GT with the 8 speed auto since ive been hearing nothing but horror stories about the manual trans even for the 2018-present manual trans. Are the manual trans really that bad?
so this maybe a dumb question. but here it goes when you lower the car do you have to have all the tires realigned? and what catback would you recommend for a aggressive but not obnoxious sound? have 2 lil girls so dont want to scary the complete shit out of them but still want a nice growl. thanks for anyone who can shed some light on this for me.
Bought mine new...15 gtpp..only 18400 mi but perfect so far..18 and newer have motor noise issues..if you get one get a Pedalmax and take control of all those ponies!
does your driver seat's bottom get loose at all from sitting in it? Mine looks loose when I get out of it but tightens up a bit over night but has always had that look after only a month or so of owning it from brand new.
