Thank you, we have two sinks similar to what you have. Not knowing what you just explained we purchased two waterfall faucets 4-5 years ago and they are both leaking up on top where the handle connects. I was searching to find out on how to remove the cartridge and replace them but now we are going to replace both faucets! Thank you very much. Simple little things that can easily be over looked.
Great video... excellent, tips, too! I especially like the idea of "leaving the long plastic wrench on the mounting nut!" Can't tell you how many times I've just tossed a tool like that in the garbage, and regretted it, three years down the road!
My wife had to have one, and you do have to back the water valve down else it will really shoot forward. So then you have a fair bit less water coming out which takes longer to do its job. Good investigative journalism.
Wish I had seen your video sooner as everything you have stated is on my tap I should have thought about it when I bought it but hay ho won’t make the same mistake again hopefully now I know what to look for. Good video
Bro i wish i would of seen this video before i had purchased them 9 months ago🤦🏼♂️.... but every thing you mentioned is so true.... my water sits there and creates mould, but we try to clean it as often as possible but it still builds back up and now i have a leak also from the top where the handle connects, but im just going to replace these . Thanks for the info it helped me make my decision whether i should just purchase different ones
I was curious as to how deep are your sinks.? Great points I must say on the new faucet. I was debating whether to go to this style waterfall in a shallow sink because of Splash
I may have to cancel the one I just ordered and already have my eye on another that meets this criteria. Problem avoided, money saved. VERY helpful, thank you!
Thanks for the video. I have a very similar faucet which has malfunctioned in a different way. The lever won't shut off the darned water and I have to turn it off at the stop valve every time I want to run water anywhere in the house. Is there a nut or something to tighten under the lever arm, and how do you get that lever arm off to look?
I live in an apartment with this same exact faucet and it doesn't have the slant. I see all this white build up inside the faucet where the water comes out and it splashes also. I have OCD and I need to know how to clean this off. Do you have any suggestions? I've lived here for 2 years and it was a brand new apartment but this was this way when I moved in. Just not as bad.
Those seem quite loud. Is that because your water pressure is turned down and the supply valves are hissing? I'm worried that if I have to turn down my supply valves as I don't have a huge sink, they'll be loud due to pressure constriction
Good video but I wouldn't put thread tape on the flexie threads, the reason for this is the threads won't go in all the way and the o rings won't get an appropriate seal, and also if you read usage of thread tape it's meant to be used as a lubricant not a method of leak prevention. But hey if it works it works
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Dennis Gunnar Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Where would someone find a plastic wrench like that? The house we bought has faucets similar to these and I'm trying to remove them but can't find that tool.
FYI, it's not mold, it's algae. And any waterfall faucet like this is going to get etching due to minerals in the water. All faucets do this, it just happens to be inside of it, so you never see it.
Those are for the LED lights that are inside of the waterfall. They tend to go bad or stop working after about a year. I really don’t like the light up stuff. It’s just not made to last.
@@JustinCase380 its definitely not delta, you can search amazon for the term "waterfall faucet" tons of generic no name brands, take all the advice in the video
i purchased this Model from eBay about two years ago but I know they were Being manufactured in China so depending on where the factory is selling them through now possibly Amazon but I would just do a Google search and click shopping waterfall faucet
