My ex has been breadcrumbing me since the breakup, a few weeks now. Thanks to the support of friends, my therapist, and your videos, I'm at the point of fully giving her the breakup. I know my mind can't handle the ups and downs emotionally, hopefully this changes the power dynamics and allows me to fully heal.

You’re right! They’re not worth it They’re nothing but heartless monsters who left you when you needed them the most. Relationship isn’t a feeling It’s not supposed to be fun and happy happy times! It’s a commitment. Its searching for a soulmate who’s there for you, loves you even at your flaws (as long as you didn’t cheat on them or abuse them or hurt them in a way that’d drain them), they work together to solve problems with you and move mountains and swim the deepest sea. It is about understanding and having someone to grow old with. But unfortunately my generation is too fucked up. It’s full of idiots who know nothing about the concept of true love Relationship are a two way street takes two people to make and break a relationship. And if they’re not willing to work it out they’re NOT worth it

Even I did the same I haven't begged them to stop I just gave her the breakup she wanted. Coming to how I am copping with the loss it hurts and every one has a dark side I am using my dark side to not play mind games with ex or to hurt her in any way but to get over the breakup and work on myself.

I think my ex was surprised. We had a mostly good four -year relationship. He is avoidant. He monkey branched after a long slow fade. He had planned to continue to date and be friends with me at the same time. I am sure that worked fine since he was seeing me and had a new love, also. That would have been ideal since she is indeed low hanging fruit. The situation was set up by her family and he went along with it. People pleasing ....I simply said "okay" when he finally told me and walked away without a tear. No friendship, no questions, nothing....It backfired, lol. NC forever for me. He is so immature.

I messed the relationship up. She forgave me. But then she decided she couldn’t get past it 9 months later. I’m full of shame. Regret. Guilt. Etc.

This came up at the perfect time, last night her mother called me with my ex in the room. They wanted to see "How I was". It's amazing how seven months of grief can end in a single moment, I can't stand her and for the first time I'm finally ready to move on.

At the moment of being shockingly dumped with no warning I immediately gave hiim the breakup before I knew anything about breakups! But I always told him love is a choice and we choose each other until we don't. I Said I loved him but respected his decision and let him go. He looked bemused and upset...not upset enough to fix it though 😅

When I got dumped I just said ok. We was together a year. My youngest child kept trying to call him and he was ignoring her. I didn’t even know. But even getting dumped I feel sad but I feel relief bc I feel as if I lowered my standards dating this person who begged me too. Than I get dumped I honestly feel like the audacity. I was blocked on every single thing by this person. Like I said I’m more so sad this is affecting my children than me. I seriously wanted to apply this, to fully let her go once she broke it off. But she said some really hurtful, daring and untrue things that I just couldn’t resist giving her a piece of my mind as well. Not to mention she had to pick up her stuff from my house a couple of weeks later so communication couldn’t stop no matter how much I wanted to. Now it’s been more than 6 months from the breakup, 4 months of no contact.

Nick how would you respond to ex who you met by accident during an event and they gave you back (after 11 months) something of value for you, not financial, you thought you lost? So they are giving this thing to you, bit nervous and then they say "was good to see you" 🤷‍♀️ not "nice to see you" or "how are you?" Could you give me a tip on how I should respond?

You know the most hurtful part is that i am the dumper, i feel better for weeks and then relapse other weeks and it goes on and on like this forever. Its been 7 months since i broke up with her, i tried to reconcile after 2 months but then found out that she started drincking, smoking, and fucking around with people in collage. The thing is, i wanted to break up with her for 1 year. And deep down i know she was very bad for me. But i work on myself, get in a good spot, then try to date, see that no woman that meet my (really not that big) standards, and then proceed to thunk of her again for weeks.... (I am 19, male, and i've had a 1,5 - 2 y relationship)
