As a nickelodeon kid I've reached a level of sarcasm where my friends feel like I just stabbed their liver and I thought I was actually being nice without sarcasm 😂😅
I've watched almost all of these at different stages in my life. That explains how I became a mess. 😂😅 Sarcastic personality-reader that roasts with love, neurodivergent with niche interests, and "stop climbing on the counters/jumping on the couch" definitely fit. 💀
Nickelodeon is accurate. I watched a lot of Disney too but I think Wizards of Waverly Place still fits the sarcasm angle. My loved ones have learned that quiet doesn’t necessarily mean nice.
I grew up in an ingredient household... But some of those ingredients were cookie dough and brownie mix so we were also known as the "food" house cause all our treats were fresh baked lol.
I watched all of them, except Cartoon Network because we didn’t have it, so that was a special treat when I had sleepovers at my friends’ houses. They were (and are) indeed feral. I’m just a mess 😂
I was a Disney channel kid (which was somewhat accurate, I mean I am an insufferable theatre kid if I’m in a group with other theatre kids) when I got a bit older but when I was younger I was a teletoon kid, which is like Canada’s Cartoon Network (we still had Cartoon Network she just had teletoon on the side)
This is so funny to me cuz in my household we didn't get these channels - non-American and we didn't have Sky box - but the channels we did get used most of these shows so I'm a mixed bag and have bits and pieces of all those stereotypes (which should not be as accurate as they are 😅).
That king tut show on Discovery kids was my absolute life as a kid. I LOVED it. I can’t remember if it’s what sparked my love of ancient Egypt or if I watched The Mummy and this show just added fuel to the fire. I still love Tut to this day because of it.
I was a PBS/Disney channel kid and then became a Cartoon Network kid once I got older due to Steven Universe…altogether accurate, I am definitely a dramatic theatre kid, and my parents are pretty involved and taught me a lot lol
A mix of Nickelodeon, PBS and Discovery for me! xD Which fits with what you said really. Sadly I moved to a country that had neither PBS, nor Discovery (I was so bummed about the lack of Discovery, I even player on their website) so I moved to Disney and Nickelodeon.
I wasn't really any of these, but the one with the most shows i recognized was PBS Kids, and it also fit me pretty well. I mostly watched TVOKids (because I'm Canadian)
As someone that grew up as a PBS Kids kid, I would say being an ingredient kid is pretty accurate. Only the cashews and cheese part was usually part of my lunch. My parents made SURE my brother and I were with them super close at all times. (Minus the time my brother managed to run out and go to a neighbor’s backyard, and we had to find him. Don’t worry, he’s okay now.)
once again you got me on all of them and its pretty accurate.. I moved around to a few family houses as a kid I got a mix of all of it depending on who I was staying with and what they thought was appropriate. my grandpas house was 4kids though I didn't see that mentioned
PBS was the only channel that I, a homeschooled child, was allowed to watch. My parents did not allow the other "corrupting" channels in our house. They were the very involved parents. But now I enjoy learning and I'm constantly told by my peers that my preferences in movies, music, and books are "too intellectual" for their taste. Whatever. Their loss.
80s nick was my jam. You Can't Do That on Television is the core of my sense of humor. A French show called The Mysterious Cities of Gold was my first adventure serial. Spatikus and the Sun Beneth the Sea was trippy and absurd. Also this is where i watched Star Trek the aminated series.
As a cn PBS kid .... u totally nailed it on the head although I think being more intelligent then anyone I've met in person yet being abused so heavily and treated like a dirty worthless animal by society its no wonder I lashed out sooo violently 😂
I'm by the definition a discovery channel kid but I watched what I found on all of these channels and the forgotten Boomerang, which had a combination of shows from all over mostly CN
I keep waiting for the day you include a kids cartoon called crashbox in your videos. It was my favorite as a kid and I watched it so much my mom got used to its weirdness.
I was primarily a Disney kid, because my mom wasn’t a fan of the others, but spent a good chunk of my time watching all of the other networks too. Most notably Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon
