I have one for the Fenrir: "You either REALLY enjoy Final Fantasy, or just like to randomly bonk people's heads really hard till they explode like watermelons"
@@supergamer1388 Ultima Weapon is just good damage, but Stitch is incredibly useful, and I say with a touch of shame is what pushed me over the finish line with LW. He will deflect most attacks, refills your MP, and will stunlock LW while giving you free health (though this means you can't really deal any decent damage). He's a great pick for when you're in a bad situation and low on health and/or MP and/or items.
@@Ron_Junkman Never have played Final Mix, but I always loved Anti-Form other than the no items making it often a death sentence. If I could use items during it and it had a growth ability like fast walk or something, it'd probably be my favorite Form.
Is it weird how i wished to get anti Form in the xaldin fight? AND IT HELPED(i mean i wasnt Close to dying but He annoyed me so i wanted to get done a.k.a anti Form)?! Btw No critical Mode but still
To be fair, Oathkeeper and Oblivion are the keyblades you want to use if you want to get the most out of your drive forms. Have Oblivion as your primary so that you can build up drive really fast while in MP charge, and then put Oathkeeper on whichever dual-wielding form you are trying to level/spam. Since you had no joke for Fenrir, I would like to give you one. "You probably used this to cheese Lingering Will."
Once I've gotten Sleeping Lion, I never swapped it out once right after that. I just need a gunblade (Glad it isn't a steel pipe this time). Same thing applied for me when I played FFXIV.
Gunblade is just severely underrepresented in final fantasy games. Yeah I played 13 and yes I raid in 14 on gunbreaker. But I want MORE GUNBLADES in ff
I love Hidden Dragon… for the sole reason that I could finally put Star Seeker as my primary Keyblade and Kingdom Key as my secondary. But honestly I have tons of favorites, even Monochrome because I enjoy the classic Mickey Mouse cartoons.
0:27 The Draw ability is very important to me. I hate having to run around to pick up everything. Design-wise, it’s not great, but I use this keyblade a lot.
Yeah, real talk: Gullwing was my favorite for a majority of KH2, but mostly because I loved the way the colors pop (I liked a lot of Brian colorful things in Middle School). When I got Lionheart though, I was TORN between the two. As for Fenrir, it was less of a weapon and more of a medal of honor for me: it took me 3 years to beat Sephiroth, but you better believe I was doing backflips when it finally happened
Guardian soul being like top 3 longest keyblades, looking cool, having an incredible swing trail, and a reward for saving auron is why it’s my favorite. Also reaction boost stacking with other reaction boosts you already have in critical mode is so awesome
Okay, yes, using Oblivion and Oathkeeper with Final Form just feels right, even if there are surely more optimal setups. On the subject of “optimal setups,” I like equipping Bond of Flame to the off-hand and watching everything burn, baby!
I got some ideas Photon Debugger: You need Thundaga spam to carry you Mysterious Abyss: You can't beat Data Axel Fenrir: You don't realize what Negative Combo means or you're looping Terra I feel like Guardian Soul could've been a similar joke about being a Triangle spammer.
@@UmmHaha Speaking of Reflect, I actually managed to skip the Riku section of the final Xemnas fight by spamming Reflect during the second Reversal phase. Didn't even know that was possible.
Fenrir is quite simply an Objectively Cool Keyblade. You could have made a joke like "You don't actually know how to fight Lingering Will" or something, given the combo minus strat
Decisive Pumpkin is my favorite keyblade bar none. It has such a cool design, it's really good stat wise, and Nightmare Before Christmas world, while small, was my favorite in KH2.
The Winnie the Pooh one from KH3: this keyblade, and the world it comes from, is your favorite only for nostalgia of an old classic, and cult favorite…and you only go to the magic kingdom for the Winnie the Pooh ride and everything else is just extra fun to you… Edit: what do you think?
when the oblivion and oath keeper popped up and he mentioned having them on final form...i may or may not have gotten alil piffed because i did do that myself.
Never feared Fatal Crest. It was my only hope for fighting Sephiroth when I first played the game. Berserk with an endless air combo bought me a solid two minutes of hits. Plus the street performer mini game in Twilight Town.
I love the kingdom key because its iconic. I love using "canon" equipment and appearances in games with customization. I will typically wear the postor boy armor sets in RPG's like Dark Souls, Fall Out. I typically wear things like the champions tunic in Breath of The Wild, or I'll use default skins in class based shooters, like Borderlands, TF2, Overwatch (bare in mind I've stopped playing alot of these games a LONG time ago) I don't know, theres just something about basic default looks being appealing to me.
Circle of Life, Two Become One, and Ultima Weapon are spot on for me. Good Job. Also thanks for giving me the idea of Dual Wielding Oblivion and Oathkeeper, I'll be sure to do that now.
Guardian Soul: It looks like Terra's (default) keyblade. Two Become One: It looks like Ventus's (default) keyblade. Oblivion: It looks like Aqua's current Keyblade (Stormfall).
Actually, I like Fatal Crest because Magic, even if Magic is not as spammable in theory as it is in KH1 thanks to the MP Charge system. IMO, Magic really gets broken towards the end of KH2 since you get your MP bar expanded, but early game it's kinda eh.
I like Fatal Crest because Berserk Charge...and magic but my favorite is Winner's proof which is for what Bio-Roxas says but also because Donald's and Goofy's Premium Mushroom and Ultimate Mushroom respectively are just straight up better than Save The King and Queen respectively and it bothers me that Winner's Proof just gets No Exp...also magic
When I was younger and didn't have FM, my favorite was Gull Wing because X-2 was my first 3D Final Fantasy game. Now that I have FM, it's all about Two Become One. I'm a sucker for Roxas' aesthetic.
Oh shit I got randomly recommended this video, I forgot you have a RU-vid channel. I know you through the whole KZ-Carl-Shibuya pipeline. I really need to play KH2 again to figure out which is my favorite Keyblade just so I know which statement is most accurate to me. Fenrir is definitely just "I LOVE FINAL FANTASY 7!" said in the same tone of voice as the Red Letter Media Rogue One quotes. "I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!"
my favorite keyblades in KHIII (sunk more into that one): happy gear (Monster's inc is special to me), Crystal snow (blizzard blades being my favorite formchange), Hunny spout (more balanced shooting star, plus nostalgia that made me cry for the first time since 2018), and Grand chef (I had to work for it, plus I like food).
My favorite is the Kingdom Key, but it's mostly just because it's Sora's main Keyblade and Sora's my favorite character... ever. My second favorite's Oblivion too, cool design + the trail it has for when it's swinging looks *BALLER*
Love the fact I'm a Kingdom Key person but don't have the patients for a lvl1 run even on my best day. Even though I usually love a good challenge, I ain't trying to torture myself too.
