@@secretlyaspacewizzard It's a full military uniform so you'll want to nail the details and embroidery. I recommend finding a skilled tailor, especially if they've worked with military uniforms before. That could get expensive though.
I use the Fierce Deity because it's cool and because I want the masks effects in TOTK. I'm disappointed that fusing stuff into the Fierce Deity Sword makes it look different. I wish I could make it stronger while keeping the sword cool look.
Just by experimenting with different set combinations, I've discovered a very strong combination. I use the amber earrings, the champion's leathers and the soldier's greaves. When these items are fully upgraded, they provide a defense of 88. That's a high enough defense to take on just about every enemy in the game. One small thing about the combination I use, though. The soldier's greaves makes noise as you move in it, so it may grab the attention of any monster nearby. Other than that, it's a great combination if you're going into battle. It's even stronger than the full soldier's armor set.
I went with Diamond circlet, champion leathers, and fierce deity leggings (or barbarian) for 80 def and level 2 atk boost. its roughly enough extra base def to equal to having the level 2 def boost over the barb/fierce set, and level 2 atk boost is good enough to justify using my food buff for something else. If I'm fighting one of the few enemies in the game that calls for it, the actual defense food buff still reduces basically everything to chip damage.
I go with either Cap of the Wind or a green hylian hood, purple climbers shirt and green Desert Voe leggings. It offers little to nothing when it comes to combat but I'd rather rush into battle looking awesome
This was also my go to for a while! The amber earring are *so* easy to fully upgrade and have such great defense, which is why I basically always wore them in botw and for a long time in totk Recently I was able to fully upgrade my diamond circlet though, and now *that's* what I'm always wearing (it has 28 def just like the amber earrings, but the diamond circlet also has an attack up bonus!)
Max Feirce deity set is expensive but offers 60 defense, attack up 3, charge attack stamina up. its a decent one for tanking hits and being a beefy spin attack boi
I mainly use the hylian hood (down), champions leathers and hylian trousers. I did play BoTW a lot and I just genuinely think the champions leathers look way better than the champions tunic. I also really like wearing outfits used in promotional stuff, the title card etc. for some reason
I have the exact same set on, but I use the Fierce Deity pants instead for the little extra attack boost. It doesn't look all that different, especially if you dye it, and the whole fit has excellent defence!
i have to say i dont like the added armour on the champions leathers, it feels clunky like the phantom set and the champions tunic/tunic of memories not only looks good but is so nostalgic i cant refuse it, even though i dont have it in my main totk save lol
Yeah, same here, but I decided to come up with something more original and not used in the trailer so I wear stealth mask (dyed dark red), royal guards uniform and trousers of time.
or you just wanna role play as a zonai, thats the only reason id use it (granted i love the zonai, gloom, and deity sets and mainly due to usefulness when it comes to zonai set, and the look of the gloom set. as for the deity set, only to destory opponents) hell i tend to run on the overworld with the gloom set because it looks so cool to me, and reminds me of the bandit transformations from dofus back in the day.
I use armours according to the situation, due the lack of ancient set, I use soldier armour in combat, for the raw defence, along with level 3 attack boost, so I can tank pretty much anything.
I use Majora's mask and depths armor because I like being in the depths way longer than I should be 💀 Gloom protection + monster avoiding is kind of OP
@@koifishes9901 My literal pastime is just going into the depths after a blood moon and label hunting. I use the mask to keep other monsters from attacking me on the way there.
My go-to is the hylian hood, twilight princess tunic and blacked out soldier's greaves. I think the combo looks great, nostalgic and detailed with decent enough defense
Yes, there should be more to do in the Yoga Clan hideout!! I wanted more side quests because I love hanging out with the Yiga Clan! Also, the whole quest to get the Yiga Set is pretty fun, too.
IKR? Would've been awesome if there were a couple of moles in there, who were assigned by Zelda to infiltrate into the clan for reconnaissance, and you need to use passphrases with so they can give you a special quest to take down the main headquarters after you acquire the lightning helmet.
The glide suit might just be my favorite right now with the no fall damage bonus. I can fall from the sky to the depths with my sword out and no damage once i land 👌
I’m a yiga person. And he’s right I wish there was way more to do with the hide out, along with more yiga hideouts that have shops and stuff. I also love using the doom vehicles and wish u could start a raid while disguised as a yiga and rob stores and stuff 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My go to outfit is the hylian trousers, champions leathers, and diamond circlet. I feel like this outfit gives a good amount of defense, but you also get some attack up from the circlet, and it looks good in cutscenes
lol yes 😂 default to the champions leathers (amber earrings for me though for defense) when i am being serious about the iMeRsIoN, barbarian armor when we are feeling spicy
The Desert Voe set is, indeed, the best looking set. I like rolling around with the Mystic Armor set dyed black, except with the Desert Voe shoulder guard (also black), cause it makes me look like Madara. I die all the time, but I look cool doing it.
My default outfit eventually became: diamond tiara, champion leathers, and fierce deity boots, and I swap in korok or majora mask as needed. I played through most of the game in full zonaite though, and also love the wing suit.
My go to combination is the diamond circlet, zonaite waistguard, and the desert voe trousers all dyed white, and sometimes I use this other combination diamond circlet, charged shirt, and the desert voe trousers. I really enjoy the gold and white aesthetic
As someone who uses the island lobster shirt: yes, I do want a port of wind waker on switch, it would also be cool if phantom hourglass or spirit tracks somehow made it too. Properly called me out
My faves: Fierce Deity because I suck in combat & need as many attack buffs as I can get Zora because waterfalls are fun Snowquill because Rito Village feels like home & the nearby tower is my favorite spawn point Yiga because I love feeling like a chaos gremlin & the Yiga Clan are fun people to hang out with. Glory to Master Kohga!
I like having the classic green look along with the new promo fit, so my go-to is the Cap of Time, Archaic Tunic, and the Fierce Deity Pants. Cap of time almost PERFECTLY matches with the green from the tunic; I just wish we had another shade of green in the dye shop so I could get the Cap of the Wild to match with the Tunic tbh
As a Fierce Deity Main, I actually just say that Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda Game solely because of this powerful mask, and Fierce Deity is basically the Barbarian Armor but it looks cooler. XD
I just really like the phantom Ganons outfit because it's cool, it's a sneak set, I rarely use bone weapons I feel like they break to easily, I like to interact with bone enemies, and I just like the reference how it made him look just like the phantom Ganon boss in OoT 3D and like to see who is the better phantom Ganon, also it looks cool when you ride Ganondorf's horse with the phantom ganon set just like he does in OoT 3D
@@daniellejackson6543 The one in ToTk will despawn if you unload and it costs a material you need to grind in the underground for to recall. It has a limited battery life you'll need to pause every few seconds to wait for a refill and it'll take hours of grinding to extend by less than 6 seconds, assuming you even found the market that sells more then 5 of those little charges at a time. It controls worse, it'll leave if you tap it wrong, it's slower, can't jump, looks stupid and you can't even read it correctly. You have to stand on the controls. Sure you can attach weapons to it that just auto fire, do no damage, and can't be manually aimed (it's either automatic targeting someone up close or they're completely fixed), and the weapons (not to mention most monsters) can also destroy the bike too in a single shot. Ultrahand is not useful. It does not create good machines, it at best creates something that looks cool and Nintendo made it that way literally for there to be clips of the things people built. Tears of the Kingdom is a soft reboot of Breath of the Wild and it does literally everything worse, especially when it comes to vehicles.
You can make a hovercraft with only 3 devices, it can descend and ascend, and if you don't have any fans or steering sticks it costs not even 10 zonaite to build with autobuild.
I go with the mystic set, not for the rupee padding, but because I kove the way the hair flops around all over the place and flows behind you while flying.
i used to rock the hylian tunic dyed grey, with the royal guards pants. i wore that for all of botw, and this game when i acquired them. however, i recently fully upgraded the entire soliders gear, i dyed the helmet part blue, and the sleeves wine color… it makes the whole outfit flow much better and i haven’t taken it off. plus i’m basically invincible with 84 defense.
My go-to is the sheikah outfit. Not because hehe ninja, but because I can walk right up to any critter and collect it before it starts running away. I hate chasing after bugs and lizards.
I use OOT link because i got it early from amiibo and upgraded it way too much, i use the feirce deity outfit when im fighting and the dark set for the speed. I also got the twilight set bc i got the wepon bow and sheild for it (plus it looks good) too. what dat say abt me?
So on point lol. I love the Hylian set and have it in two sets of different colours. Idk that armor looks so good and i love to try different dyes on it, it's the perfect outfit for outdoors exploration
I like how everyones just being smart and like focusing on stats n stuff, and then theres me with my cap of time, green dyed archaic tunic, and black hylian trousers dying to one hit from everything. Atleast it looks cool as hell
Fun fact: for the lynel coliseum, all you need to win is early game items, specifically, 2 captain III spears with strong zonai spears, and one of any blunt weapon, take out the lynel near the lightroot south of the coliseum first to get one lynel bow and a few arrows, and flurry rush the first 3 lynels to death, then teleport away and let the gloom deplete you to one heart, and use the sun or a lightroot to rgen the gloom damage, leving you at one heart, then use the knights spear from the white maned lynel with the Saber horn and use the double damage to kill the fourth lynel, if durability gets low use the arrows to headshot and get on its back, it's easier with a wing shield to get some bullet time, then fuse the silver mace horn to the royal broadsword and repeat process, using the new sword to break the armor Edit: in case anyone's wondering, all the starter items can be obtained in the water temple, the strong zonaite spears are in the mucktorok arena to the right of the secret stone by the bubble generator
I have Link wear everything on the box art. Much like I did in BOTW I like to keep everything uniform to the experience for the first time playing it. That way I feel more immersed to the world.
A combination that I love is champion’s tunic/leather and the soldier greaves with hair down, though usually equipping the fierce deity head piece when about to get into a fight. However, I also like the combination of the zonaite armor chest piece or frostbite tunic with hylian trousers
Aesthetically the Royal Guard set is absolutely my favorite. Link looks sharp as heck in that thing! I do change his clothing for various defense, attack, elemental, and tactical buffs though depending on location and enemies.
I've been called out on the Dark one, even though I primarily wear a combination of the barbarian and frostbite sets. Edit: I also wear the Time and Twilight sets frequently, simply because the games they originate from are awesome. Oh, and Fierce Deity. I'm currently going for 100% completion on Majora's Mask because I've put it off for too long. I just wish Spirit Tracks had some sort of special item in TOTK outside of the Phantom armor. That's one of the best games in the series, storywise.
Desert Voe and Phantom Ganon are my go-to sets unless something necessitates using Fierce Deity or some other situationally appropriate gear. They just look so good!
Ngl I use the glide set mostly to get compliments from the three steward constructs that give it to you, because I visit them frequently. Love those guys.
This video is how I learned the Gerudo Vai outfit was cut from the game. I actually hadn't played it before, so thanks for making sure I didn't waste my time! (I'm being serious here, I'm genuinely glad I didn't get my hopes up because the fact that you can't wear that one specific outfit has completely turned me off from playing the game at all lol)
I use the Flamebreaker pants, the Lynel mask, and no top, because seeing a half naked tiny man with a silly mask overcome impossible odds with improbable weapons and contraptions amuses me to no end.
My go-2 fit is the Barbarian Armor, it looks badass with the bones and other things. It also looks fabulous with Savage Lynel gear, and any weapon with a Silver Lynel Horn on it
I'm that person who can't wear an outfit for more than two minutes, because I'm constantly changing to get whatever buff is best at the moment. I suppose the outfit I end up wearing most often is the Sheikah stealth garb... Because the combination of stealth and increased speed at night means I spend less time fighting low level enemies. By the time they notice me, I'm almost out of their range.
Iv'e got to be honest, first I thought nothing of the gloom armour, but the more you play it in the depths, the more you feel like a dark ancient wizard/hunter tribe/cult member patrolling the depths and hunting monsters for parts or preserving order... also I coloured mine black/grey even though only a few details change about the armour, but damn... put on the right dark ambient music from YT for the depths and it feels just AWESOME! Also, combine a staff weapon with a silver lizalfoss horn and then ride a stahlhorse... photo shooting time!
No, YOU have great taste for complimenting both the Gerudo Voe outfit and the Twilight outfit. Gerudo Voe is by far Link's best drip, and Twilight Princess' Link is still the best design of the franchise (I do wish Totk's Twilight Set was a bit more faithful though, I feel like it was a bit more detailed and gritty in TP, but I guess it doesn't work as well in TOTK's artstyle.).
For people who use mystic: It will save rupees if you just use one piece of mystic and two other high defense pieces. Since it only uses the amount of rupees relative to the damage you took, having 9 defense from mystic would take 200 or so from a strong enemy, but having 59 defense from a mystic piece and for example two soldier's armor pieces would put that down to like 20.
I use a mixed just because I like how it looks together. Hylian Guard hat, Sheikah shirt, and soldier's armor pants. My brother used to say it looks weird, but now I think it's growing on him.
Mystic user here, guilty as charged, I also nuke lynels from orbit using the wing suit for fun. Also true for the champion's leathers, I use both because the high defense from the leathers synergizes well with the outright damage absorbtion from the mystic pieces.
My go-to outfit for just walking around is Cap of the Wild (dyed blue), Champion's Tunic, and Hylian Trousers. My combat set is the Fierce Deity since I found it first and upgrades are expensive.
I love the Twilight set and the Hero of Time. I used to have a Nintendo 64 from when my mom had it in hs and Ocarina of Time was one of my favorite games, along with Pokémon on the DS and pretty much anything on the Wii. Also loved Minecraft and Skylanders on the ps3 and played Halo Skyrim and Oblivion on the Xbox 360. I would kill to go back in time to play those games.
I always wear Majora’s Mask, I do it mostly so I can feed all the enemies and pretend they’re my mates 🍎 (also I can explore without them giving me sass!) 😁
