Dr. Glaucomflecken's take on what your first day in ICU medicine as a new doctor is actually like was one of the funniest videos that I've seen in the last month. As a final year family medicine resident that just finished up my rotation on the intensive care unit, I can say that the last month was the most difficult part of my training so far. The ICU is an environment like no other, and on some nights you'll be able to stay awake for a 24 hour shift from the stress and anxiety alone. And that's exactly why I wanted to take this time to have a laugh and look back at my last month of training. I hope you all enjoy and to all of my fellow residents that are going through it right now, keep up the good work 💪 It'll pay off.
