I don't think you're picking it up from the right thread. Truths need to be applied appropriately in context. "God is the doer", has to be understood in the right way, in the proper perspective. There is a relative and an absolute point of view. Yes, in the absolute sense, God is the doer and God alone is behind all appearances. Yet in the relative and practical sense, we exist as individuals with our own soul, will, consciousness and personality.
