Depends on the shoot - holiday kit is my backpack with 2 bodies D850’s selection of prime lenses small tripod and GoPro 7 for video for commercial shoots I have 6 Nanuk cases with camera gear - video gear and lighting - actually for commercial shoots my gear fills the back of the highlander with just enough room left for an assistant - its a workout moving the gear lol
Matti. This is exactly the content that "the people" need right now. This is feel good stuff. Thanks a ton. Also quick question, I have your graphics which are great. I am considering your lutz pack also now. I would use them on my c100. What settings do you recommend on the c100?
@@JoshuaRadford Out of camera is pretty clean looking to be honest. But it also doesn't leave a lot of options for creativity besides seriously controlling the lighting during production. What are your thoughts on a Atomos?
Love how you balance youtube work and family time! Also really like how real you are in this youtube space,no bragging nothing, just down to earth n we love it!✌️♥️💯 God bless you n ur family
I feel that it important to tell you that you are providing us an escape to the constant 24/7 media blast on Covid. I am happy you are putting aside all the over production trap that often you, Pete and so many other youtubers fall for and going simply for the creation of contents. We love to learn, we love to know your opinion about a given product but most important we follow because we find you (and a few others) somehow inspirational. Keep vlogging because people are desperate for inspiration in times like these. Cheers
Love it that people are actually being more minimalistic in terms of equipment. When you look back at these "what's in my camera bag" from 2016-2017 - People were carrying SOOOO MUCH stuff with them all the time ^^
It's amazing how the more experienced one gets, the less gear one needs. Not all the time but most of the time. Thanks for some really good ideas on how I can pare it down even more for travel, if we ever get to do that again!
I bought the Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW exactly for having the extra space for everyday items. I often take my bag on shoot with the Air Force on aircraft and one bag is a must when moving around at bases.
hey matti! can you PLEASE make a video explaining how you organize you files? like what you do after you have been on a trip and how you use your hard drive. And how you use the Lightroom catalog/catalogs! i'm sure a lot of other people would love to her about this topic!
Amazing content Matti. It’s crazy how it helps to have someone talk about other then the current situation in the world. It helps disconnect. Cheers from Victoria BC Canada!
Nice! I have a similar setup: DJI Mavic Air Nikon D610 with Grip Tamron 45mm f1.8 VC (favorite lens) Nikon 24-85 f3.5-4.5 G ED VR (hate it, need a sharper, wider zoom) Rode VideoMicro Pouch for D610 and DJI batteries Pouch for DJI Charger 10000 mAh USB battery Extra Props, Cleaning cloth, and a tiny bit of room for a filter set.
Can’t believe you don’t have any lights in your bag. Btw, I watched your other videos on camera bags and you influenced me to spend $300 usd on the same DB setup! Love it bro! Really really like the pace of these videos/posts. I know we’re under extraordinary circumstances but you would seriously benefit from posting this often it’s next level stardom my man.
You and potato jet have given me so much info of equipment and filming that i seriously cannot thank you enough. I am totally new in this vlog/filmibg thing and your channels have been by far the best to help me on that 🙂
Thank you for these, Matti. I look forward to your vlogs. It's like a way to remain connected to the outside world without actually being IN the outside world.
Dude I love your work and also you are an amazing father for your son and husband for your wife ! You are awesome ...You are my mendor , you really know how to inspire your viwers !
Hey Matti first of all i wanted to thank you for the awsome content, entrertaining almost every day. Can you possibly make a video about the camera settings and color gradings you use and do on your vlogs?🤷🏼♂️ Greetings From Switzerland
Loving it! I've got a Canon T7i setup with a 11-16mm (because of the crop sensor). But I'm trying to take a cue from your iPhone and start looking at my LG V40 as more than just something to take snapshots of the kids with. In fact, it can shoot at a higher FPS than my Canon can lol
@@mattih thinking of going into XR but what if I don' like it? :D Maybe I'll better go with Pink (less money) and if I'll like it I'll force my wife to ride it with me and I'll buy XR for me. Is that Pint really harder to operate? and more likely will throw you in the front of it while You'll try to accelerate?
Nice gear, I looked into it and man you have some expensive gear, I'n not quite there but hope to get there. Do you think the iphone is better than action cameras cause of depth of focus??
Thanks for the video Matti! It seems like you could still get more use out if your current mic, but any thoughts on the rode video mic ntg? Also, I've been loving these vlogs : )
Actually seeking for a bag at the moment. Thanks for telling that The Backpack Pro is better for the camera insert. Having the smaller version at the moment will not do the work :( Anyway, great to see the minimum essential kit. Don't you think to carry also some kind of cleaning kit for the lens and camera?
Always love a good what's in my camera bag. Always find something new or some new way of doing something! Thanks Matti! Also, did he give a reason as to why he took away a thumbs up? 😂😂😂
hey matti! could you do a test vlog with the EOS RP again now that it has 24p at 1080?? I would love to see the differences in quality (if there is any) and I'm sure other people will as well since its only $1000 right now, with the RF to EF adapter included! thanks and great video!
Hey Matti, Good to see you still making content in these times. So I have a question, I am currently working on a new RU-vid channel but not sure where to start. Any tips?
