Teyonna Davis Hey! It's not Maiphammy but I would love to give you some tips. I think that you should not stress and make a big deal about it like I know it's hard and all but it's not the end of the world you can tryout next year. Arrive early that makes it more professional and serious. Be sure that you've done the paperwork if there is. Get some good sleep and star eating well and working out before the tryouts like well a month before but just try to get yourself in a better shape for the next 3 weeks (push-ups,squat,lifting your ankles ( don't know how to call it) and try to practice volleyball a little bit everyday you know setting and bumping at the wall and all. Don't do your bag and all right before tryouts because that will add you the stress of being late and all. Be open to people change partners. Give all your attention to your coach (eye contact and yes coach) Literally SCREAM at volleyball communication is key ( MINE help in/out). If the coach asks you to play a position that you hate or don't play don't say no tell that you are not used to it but would love to try it.Bring emergency stuff ( another shirt , girls stuff deodorant and all. I don't know if you have kneepads but I think that buying it for tryouts would be a great idea. Wear bright stuff so the coach notices and won't forget you.AND HAVE FUN volleyball is fun !
