As I have listened to this factual description of the issues that has allowed children to be raped and then invalidated by the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church, a statement I recently made is even more profound - 'the first grooming act by this system was my infant baptism'!
I got an idea, take away the churches monetary/tax legal exemptions and privileges. I'm sure you'll soon see an exodus of high ranking members who will seek other means of securing and expanding their own wealth/power.
I see also one thing - that without doubt 75% guild is on the side of the bishops and clerics but. 25% is on the side of the congregation and people. Why? Well I do not believe that nobody from the congregation, from lay people had no knowledge what was going on - I am asking what kind of steps they undertook, what they have done to help parents of those kids. I just do not believe that it was unknown to people - but they too stay passive and silent from many reasons
