Is there a new castle grayskull or you referring to the Matty one released a few years back? I don’t see them redoing the firehouse as the castle was subtly done, they just seem to be doing 99% replicas. And the firehouse paled in comparison to the original firehouse. Though firehouse is my vote. Think they could do it for a 60 price point?
Thank You so much for sharing this with us all. I indeed wanted to exactly let Hasbro know what I personally wanted to see next within The kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters Toy line. Needless to say I just voted multiple times for multiple toys within the line. but let's be quite honest with all of our selves here we are all clearly aiming and shooting for The Ecto-1, The FireHouse Playset, The Proton Pack with P.K.E. Meter and The Ghost Trap. Anything other than these main item's that I named right here are just simply going to be extra Slime-ing on top of the preverbal Ghost cake for us all.
I said Ecto-1, the Firehouse HQ, and the Ecto-Glow series, but I’d like to have more ghosts too. Maybe Fearsome Flush, Bad to the Bone, and Granny Gross.
I think you nailed it on the ecto glow figs. Would also be nice to see those in a more long-lasting plastic. They don’t age well, even if you’re gentle.
Yup, the first series Kenner classics used a better plastic mix and the beams can take a beating on the new ones, my boys have put them through the paces! Lol

Great that they are showing interest in continuing the line! :) I would love Ecto-1 and Ecto-2 before the firehouse. I hated that firehouse!! ha ha The firepole sucked and the flooring was just meant for slime! ha ha I need a more modern updated firehouse! ha ha I like your idea on the ecto glow figures! I'd also like to see the wave that never got released at the end, but was in the catalogue. All the ghosts were epic as well! Definitely Slimer with the proton pack! :)
@@GeekDadLife I can understand. It was made for its time. I wouldn't mind if they made the real Ghostbusters characters like the Plasma series 6 inch movie figures, with the full articulation.
I wish they would re-release the Firehouse, the Fright Features figures, the Haunted Humans, and maybe H2 Ghost at the very least, but it looks like we aren't getting anymore at all. What a bummer. I was excited when they announced the original 4 figures, Slimer, Stay Puft, Ecto-1, Fearsome Flush, and Bug Eye Ghost, and now I'm let down that we didn't even get a new firehouse and another wave of figures. It would have been cool to get the Boogey Man, Samhain, Pozo, and Watt, too.

You're picks are awesome! I would love to see a release of the ecto-1 and the fire house but a re-release I would really love to see is the fright face ghostbusters. My brother had those when he was a kid and I remember them being so cool. Also would love to see ectoplasm on shelves. Maybe if those sell well Mattel would be like ok we gotta put out an origins Horde slime pit with horde slime.

Yup. This is what I want. Semi transparent Glow in the dark swap out head and hands would make so many of us buy two sets for sure. Screen accurate proton packs AMD Neutrona wands would be my dream!
I wish they do something Kenner never really did: ghosts from The Real Ghostbusters in the style and scale of the toyline. Samheim, the Boogeyman, the Grundel, Sandman, Anagarak, a Spawn of Cathulhu, etc.
As long as they don’t make them Walmart exclusives, they can release anything and I think the bulk of fans will be happy lol... But the Ecto-1 would be perfect to go with what was already released, along with the firehouse for sure! 🤙
Instead of a re-issue, I'd like to see screen accurate Janine and Louis with a scaled Slimer and ghosts like Boogie man, Sandman's and Samhain. Real Ghostbusters Gozar, terror Dog, and Dana Gate Keeper & Key master Louis, Vigo, librarian Ghost etcetera. Ecto glow would be OK, but seeing "citizen ghosts" versions would be my preference. I agree about Gooper Ghost and Ecto Plazm!
Staying away from role play and vehicles and play sets. I would go with Ecto Plasm, can’t have a ghostbusters line without slime, the Slimed hero’s line is another one that wouldn’t require a lot of new tooling, would need to create one for Louis Tully, and ghosts I would love to see them bring back the ghost mini traps.
My opinion while they finish getting out the iconic things like the ecto-1 , Fire house etc. I think they should take a page from the Star Wars retro Collection. And give a few never before releases that would be a good way to get some of the characters that were actually from the show bogeyman, Sam hain, etc. also would be cool if they made that final wave that was never released were they all were supposed to come with those huge backpacks.
If they were to do what we asked the most of, no questions, I say firehouse. Yes it doubles for ecto plasm, but almost forces them to do the ecto after. And during the pandemic, Walmart’s shelves are bare, so it would help fill them up. Now realistically, I say the ecto glows. The few who would be upset would be outweighed by masses. But it’s a reskin and they may shy away. So fright features? Adds a 5th, and the ecto plasm to fill the 2 ghosts the first wave had. 2nd either the trap or goggles after the popper. (The projector may be better for a play standard though) last would be the ecto. Has play value and works with existing figures they released already.

Since Hasbro acquired Kenners. I was hoping for M.A.S.K, Silverhawks, Centurions, etc... (although I really want the DC Super Power line but guess is not easy)

Hasbro are asking but have they already decided? I’m not sure they are really bothered what we think honestly honestly, I agree ecto glow figures Egons lab Ecto glow copter Banshee bomber Fire house, if Mattel can do a castle greyskul I see no reason why hasbro can’t do a fire house, but maybe with a new mini ghost that could come with the containment unit

Janine and Louis in their jumpsuits would be nice. Just hope they avoid the "Fright Features" stuff, even the vintage ones pegwarm at every second-hand shop around here..
Boogeyman, Samhain, killerwatt, the grundel, the "what" ghost, the troll bridge ghosts - hasbro is just sleeping on a ton of possibilities from the cartoon that were never released.

Yeah, I don't think they are making anymore, sadly. Nothing new has been announced. At the very least, we should have got a new Firehouse and the Haunted Humans. Major letdown.
