They probably weren’t uneducated by saying un-dyed. They could’ve been foreign and/or use Google translate. I know a lot of educated foreigners with bachelors and even a masters degree and they don’t know the English language so when they use Translate it messes it all up. When I try to use Google translate to talk to them, it’s even funnier. Love your videos!!!

In the UK Nail color is called Varnish- which is the same as polish..." dye" is also another word for Color.

I think she asked because she genuinely wanted to know. From my experience they always ask if you want a cut down. I do know that secretly they don't like doing long nails cause it's a lot of work. They're aren't going to tell you that because they want the money. They like doing easy and quick sets.

I have always had long nails. My mom did acrylic on me in Elementary school. So I have had long nails for a long time. But once I started buying houses & working on my houses, I had to cut them. I love them but because I have pretty hands and nail bed, I’m still good. But I’m getting them back. My Mom was the same way. She cut her nails down after she got older. She had other priorities. I still love them, as did she. But they will be back💅

If you soaked all the acrylic off your nails they would be like as thin as paper, the length has you limited to do everyday basic things ,for one this video with the car,it’s a trade off but it’s what you like we are all different I like nails but this is over the top for me

As far as the lady asking you if you ever thought about starting over -to me, I would take it as have you ever thought about going back to purple hair? It’s not bad -it’s a question. And as far as her asking if you want to cut down I think they ask the same 4 things every time you walk into the nail salon -full set - what color -do you want cut down-pedicure--Haha

Can you show us how you put on your jewelry, specifically chains/necklaces? I love long nails and I'm in the process of growing my nails out, but the one thing I have trouble doing is putting on my necklace 😩 one morning I spent like 10+ minutes trying to put it on. I could've ask someone for help but I really want to learn how to do it myself as I want to keep my nails long

Genetics also plays a part. My Mom and her sisters all could wear their Nails 1/2 inch 1'.5" with just Clear polish they never broke.

umm i dip my knuckle in and grab it- i dont know how to explain it but yes..i take the knuckle part of my pointer finger and scoop it upwards..........and if its real deep cup i take my nails flick it into the other hand (which i have positioned under the cup) so it dont fall.... now if it falls i always have a piece of paper or credit cad handy to quickly get off floor ☺ ill try record it one day

When I use to go to an Asian tech years ago every appointment she would ask me if I wanted to cut my nails. I’m like no if I wanted to cut them I would tell you to cut them. Then she finally in so many words told me that she couldn’t do my nails anymore cus my nails was to long and took too much time to do. I hate the question how do u wipe? My answer is always same as u from front to back. People don’t realize that you do things with ur fingers not ur nails. Like u said it’s a lifestyle and it’s not for everyone.

Why don't people understand like Renee said it's a life style choice just like getting a tattoo or say being a vegan what's so hard to understand that people continue to ask stupid questions if someone grows their hair out not many people ask them stupid questions so why so many over someone growing out there nails I think narrow minded people are so unhappy with themselves they try to find faults with others
