Bro , its NOT working. I tried so many times. The steps are performed are: First tried restore from thr WA downloaded from Playstore. Got that error. Then I download it from the website as u said. Tried again restoring still faced same error. Then uninstalled all WA data ans cache, again installed the WA downloaded from browser and tried , still receiving same error. Please help me out, it has data over 8 years and I cant afford to loose it.

Brother pls help, I changed my andriod device. I tried to restore whatsapp messages backup, without any issue backup restored, but when I open whatsapp messages it only restored media files without messages. Kiny help how to restore txt messages.
Bhai ye third party app download karna sahi rahega kiya..? Aur haan agar is process k through mera data aa bhi gya to m use official whatsapp par kese merge karunga..?
@@CellCare Bhai mne try kiya par mera data nahi aaya , backup ka size show nahi ho raha tha mera bhi matlab same aapki tarah hi situation thi par unfortunately mera data recover nahi hua , skip karna pada
Install Whatsapp 1. Backup that whatsapp 2. Delete and Install the Whatsapp again 3. Replace the old backup files and then restore your whatsapp again.
