@@SuAmigoAlex 3rd. first 2 were mostly iphone->pixel and iphone ->samsung. they have their own apps. then there is one outdated one plus app. i think.. naming video to iphone to one plus migration would help. add phone models in description. Since phone models come and go. people stop searching for those models. But "one plus" as a search keyword will always be there

You are right the iPhone is a vampire and sucks all the battery from the Android. Use the wireless charging on the nothing phone, 3GB shouldn't last than long.

I have the same question regarding email... my icloud and gmail ids are different.

On android you can select what email to use for backups.

@@SuAmigoAlex yes done that.. successfully restored chats but to my luck media files were additional like it restored almost all the media i deleted from chats in iphone. and the google drive backup size got from 3gb to 6.8gb. :-) thanks for the reply. your video really helped.

Logre que me reconozca el smart switch ahi en las opciones pero no lo de confiar en esta computadora, lo cual es un problema. Es decir, por ahora no hay chance de hacer la transferencia, no? No se porque no reconoce el cable lighting-usb C, probe con 2 distintos, uno hace que le saque la bateria, y con el otro ni reacciona...Asi que tendre que denegar la transferencia de WPP por el momento.

How many gigs is your WhatsApp backup? Make model and os version on each device please

@@SuAmigoAlex Going from an iphone 15 pro max to a OnePlus Open. Both OS's are updated. The size of the backup is 1.28GB.

Make sure you have a full WhatsApp backup on iCloud, also do a full iCloud backup just in case, make sure you have the latest WhatsApp version on iPhone. Restart both devices, try with a different cable

@@SuAmigoAlex I did all those things and the issue persists. I noticed that although it seemed like only the now empty group chats were there most of my chats were there although I had to search for them. Once either the other person or I send a message the conversations became visible without having to search for them.

Finally I reduced it to 7.3 GB, i had trouble with the cable first, the trust computer sign never showed up, then with a different cable, I tried and went wrong because if unestable WiFi. So didn cancel it from the iphone, went back to ir and made a hard reset on the oneplus. Later then, I tried again from a better network and it was successfully, not a single chat missed. the whole process, (including the waiting time of the backups) took 3 hs 20 Mins, Be patient and keep trying, dont give up

You can't merge WhatsApp data, you gonna have to choose one of the backups to use.
