The trailblazer being able to land on one tile is a wonderful change. I remember not being able to land on the regolith planet at all during by playthrough, and having to wait in orbit for a long time until a meteor shower came to change the terrain.

Oxylite and slime meteors do sound strange - wouldn't they all simply offgas after a while? So the only danger is from the impact damage?

A few meteorites don't even have impact damage. But they can still burry your solar panels. Reneable resources are always welcome though

Yeah They probably saw the mod with the meteor defense system and though we can make that but with bullets not lasers.

Hey Divergent, you mean the star map? it will still be dark. You need alot of telescopes and rockets to clear and discover the dark areas. I just uncovered everything for the video.

Hey phatbman I haven't figured that out yet. it depends on a few things but i guess the first shower appears at cycle 10. But i had the dupes go to the surface in the first cycle and i am not sure if thst has any effect on the result.

Like I said before, Klei should've set the default setting to "Doomsday" for all new games. Casual SO players have had it way too easy for way too long 😈

The game seems smoother but the comparison between my 3000 cycle base and a fresh new one is not really fair 😅. I think it is a bit faster, but the starmap has new issues that they tried to fix according to the update notes (but they are still there)

Ah how cruel! Sometimes there are very cool thing. Other times...socks. But ever since they introduced blueprints and i watch other people playing ONI, when the blueprint symbol glows in the top left corner i get that itch of: "Press the button!!"
