For two nights in late September four living legends of Hawaiian music came together for an exquisite performance. Each individual artist is extremely talented and accomplished in their own right, the combination of all four sharing the same stage is as rare as it is extraordinary. The resulting DVD is terrific too. Technically the videography is excellent. Nineteen tracks were recorded and mixed by fine professionals who achieved audiophile quality. The producers threw with a few interviews as an introduction to the Hawaiian Legends and then let them go. As one woman said after the concert, sun just opened up in my head!
