@@p.b6666 Just search for a wheel bearing hub assembly.. its comes with a new bearing already installed.. Timken is a good name brand.

Neither Axle or strut bolt would cause a shake. If it’s right specific, you either have a balance or lineament issue. Toe-in would cause wear but no shake.

I believe it is possible but the bearing is extremely hard to get out even with the press. Maybe heat would help but getting it back in must be done exactly right and you cannot stress the bearing race.

I slice the race that stays on hub if I can't get a tool to fit under race that stays with hub on disassembly. Only do this if you have experience with torches ascedaline and oxygen very dangerous for in in garage and need lots of space sparks do fly. Red hot is safer than cutting and slowing lifting on race. Press is best. As John recommends in the beginning you will need it any way. Someone left a comment about getting complete bearing with hub and spindle plus snap ring. Where can you get and how much, is it worth it. I can see it being worth it if you don't have a Press. Please can you let us know where you found this complete and what exactly came in kit for how much? Thanks guys. 👍John.

That is pretty common for a wheel bearing and the noise. The wheels should spin freely. Not like a two wheel drive, but still they should not be hard to spin.

That is expensive for sure, 222.00 Each, ouch. I will buy the new bearings, tear it all down ( both passenger and driver) and go to a shop somewhere in town and pay them to press both bearings out and install the two new ones. Thanks for everything.

It was very distinct from the driver's side with the window down. I actually had my wife drive and sat in passenger side with the window down. Then when i went back to the drivers side it was obvious. The sound was definitely to the front of my and not the rear.

On straight road turn the wheel side to side and if noise changes its the front and if turn wheel to right and humming is amplified its left front. In my case it's was all around and difficult but when you know a worn bearing sound a specific speed and improve when slowing or speeding up before its completely worn I had both rears gone and fronts starting to go. I was lucky to have hoist to work with and someone in vehicle on throttle but even without hoist you can diagnose and replace. The rears I would just do both at same time and they don't involve any press. Fronts are little more difficult. They to I recommend in pairs. I am not sure why John by the way great video. Didn't reuse the hub after pressing the race off. Any reason to that John, or did you want to show us incase you don't get a hub and you only get bearing with snap ring?

@P.B I had the passenger front bearing changed using all the information gathered here the steering wheel even had a slight shimmy. The mechanic said the brakes and rotors needed changed even only having less than 10 thousand miles and less than a year when asked why they needed changed so soon he said the combination of mountain driving the vehicle using the brakes for stability and traction control along with material quality going down even though it was the best Napa offers. After all that I found out it was the driver's rear bearing that was bad it could hardly be turned. When the shop can schedule me in the other 2 bearings will be replaced

No, we finally let the vehicle go after many years but it is just the two of us and we don't need an SUV anymore.

The replacement parts are doing fine. There is a distinct wining sound that will come from the bearing when it is going bad. Generally, it does not go bad overnight. The wining noise will get progressively louder.

The rear is a hub assembly. If you change one side, better do the other at the same time. amzn.to/34VpNRg

It depends on the condition of your hubs. If yours look ok and don't have any wear inside where they are pressed on then It is fine to reuse them. For the money, I replace mine so I know there is no wear. I also like having new studs as well.
