picked this up from someone on facebook. some friends of mine needed a mower for their property and this popped up in my area for the right price. i mowed my whole yard with it today.
Awesome man. It's in such nice condition. Great 8hp Briggs. And I love the column shift for the transmission! Never seen that on a mower before. So cool. Reminds me of the early Willy's. A lot of them were column shift. Might wanna put an actual fuel filter on it though. Those type are just screens. They are basically useless. Been let down many times from them.
Going to have to do an online search. Using the model number and serial number. Sorry I don't have that riding mower here anymore. Fixed it up and donated it to a friend in need a few years ago.
I need that carburetor and can't find it anywhere I'm working on a 1988 with the same Briggs 8HP. If you know the part # I would greatly appreciate it. Everywhere I've looked so far says obsolete!! THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!
