Had the same thing with my generator Terry. I replaced the hose and filter, cleaned the shutoff valve and was surprised they had the rubber grommet available! Junk modern gas!
Wow, no wonder it was having problems, that tube inside was evil lol. To keep the tank contents clean, i wonder if something like a filter coffee filter put in a funnel would catch the odd bit of muck from whatever container the fuel is in.
Non ethenol fuel only way to go on equipment, I have tygon line on all my suburbans, and the one i must have had regular ethenol gas in at one point and right at the filter the line got pretty hard and was sucking air and wouldnt prime up to carb on my one twin onan. I was at a loss bc i had rebuilt fuel pump, wasnt till I reached down and pinched the line w fingers by fuel filter it would draw then i would let go and it would suck air and stall, so I replaced that 1 foot section of line and thats the suburban I have the haban blower on that you have seen in the suburban group
Have you heard the good news of Jesus Christ? The good news is Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15 1-4) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
