SaidoKun it’s not that hard to reproduce styles of songs as long as you know the main notes of the songs. It’s what makes a musician really REALLY good; if you’re able to take a song and reproduce it in different styles.

All "reality" tv is completely scripted. Don't be so easily fooled. They would never not plan during live shows like this. It's all pre-recorded episodes anyways. Only during actual concerts that they host is when it's unrehearsed.

Adam couldn't remember all the words to Head Shoulders Knees and Toes or The Muffin Man and yet he remembered all the words to Sesame Street? This was definitely rehearsed. Lol, they clearly knew he could do a killer MJ impression so they made sure he sang that the most while leaving the rest only half-sung. It's obvious. But there's nothing wrong about that. Doesn't make Adam's raw singing chops any less incredible, no one is implying that.

They give a short list of people they can do impressions of, but i dont think they actually rehearse it. At least not with Jimmy.

Dumb people thinking those TV shows are not scripted... it would be just a huge mess if it was random and they would not know how to do the impression. Don't you think it would harm the artist image getting embarassed if he would skip an impression by not knowing how to or doing a total bad performance? Do you think they are called to participate on those TV shows on short notice? Or they would not know what will happen every second of their appearance? Silly! ... or do you think the singer/performer would just be sitting at home one day before the show/recording thinking "omg, I'm gonna participate on the Jimmy's Musical Impression! I wonder what artist and song I'll get! I'm so excited" ... silly... silly people.
