Go round and round.
Just touching base with everyone, I haven't got out to get my camping done this week yet, probably camping tonight or tomorrow for a late release (Found an awesome stealth spot). I don't want to leave anyone hanging on Thursday, so I'm just saying hi and showing you what we were up to. We have drive wheels almost half installed on the boat which we need this year because the water levels will get so low we will get stuck. This way we can power ourselves off the low spots and keep sailing. Stay tuned for the regular video do drop within the next couple days. Oh great, I just realized I think I locked the keys in my car. Gotta go check on that. Cheers everyone!

reminds me of when I was a young lad my friend build a paddlewheel boat. 55-gallon drums platform made a paddlewheel out of an with a thing that holds wire cable and a bicycle crank and pedals for power. yes, we had to peddle to go anywhere and a rudder to steer manually. it worked great until the cops saw us out in the Hudson River in a rainstorm. ordered us to shore. great invention they said. but not registered so they made us dismantle it. we were just teenagers at the time. we had life preservers. it was fun

Looks good... especially with front wheel (s). See if you can get along with small longer outriggers (which should hinge inward to get narrow... fold back if struck...) 👍🏼🤠

Hi Steve, I would have dropped the wheels lower as the tires will flex a few inches with the weight on them!! Hope this helps you out, I don't want to see you bottomed out on the pavement :)

Avocado trays A lot of musicians use egg trays but avocado trees are purple they look cool and they sound better easily put on with a spray on adhesive for sound deadening

I am wondering if the riverbed will be solid enough to support the wheels or if the wheels are just going to sink in the riverbed which would then mean that you would be doubly stuck, the barrels on the bottom of the river and the wheels sunk into the riverbed? Definitely something to try before heading out for the week.

Pilsner...yummy! I used to have a homemade pontoon type boat that required no trailer. The bottom of the boat was the trailer! It had wheels that were raised when the boat was in the water. It was so clever and fun. My husband installed a sliding diving board and there were 2 built in swivel chairs and a long bench (with storage) along the backside. The entire deck was covered by sunbrella fabric abd it had a quiet electric trolling motor. We would anchor in a lake and it was our own private island. So much fun. Not meant for river trips like yours but unique all the same. Bon voyage Steve and Crazy Neighbor!
