The 35' Plymouth Taxi reminded me. There is a 30' something Plymouth Pick-up Truck in need of restoring. It's in Aulander, NC .

We don’t know what the condition this car was in before he took ownership. It may have been too far gone to restore back to stock. It might’ve had a non Packard engine swap done in the 50s, with the original long gone. The interior may have been completely unsalvageable. ...Wheels too. With a car that rare, while it would be a crime to modify, if you simply don’t have access to original NOS parts, why not make it your own? He is able to drive and enjoy this car, and by restoring it, it saves it from becoming a complete loss, able to be brought back to original for the next owner, if he or she is able to recreate what should have been. It can be driven for years while the owner waits for a correct replacement engine to spring up on eBay or through old fashion word of mouth, if such an engine or parts car exists.
