I lived near Windsor up until May 2023 and we'd quite often head out that way for a relaxing day out. Take some lunch, let the dog have a swim in the Colo etc. It's a beautiful part of the Hawkesbury. It got smashed very badly in the floods all along the Colo and Hawkesbury. If you think you know what it looked like from TV footage, you didn't really know. It blew my mind seeing how much water there was and where it got to in the floods. It was also pretty good for us when Covid lockdowns were in place. We could all explore our council area and its one big council area in the Hawkesbury. We could go up the mountains, over to St Albans, Colo etc and not get in trouble. I was glad I didn't live in a normal suburb or I'd have gone crazy.

It's pretty nice out there. Won't be the last time I visit. Was a fair bit of water. The yard at work went under next to the hawksbury and still finding black mud everywhere after 12 months. I did a fair bit if driving out that way between the central coast and around here👌
