This is a run through of the tones on my Whelen 295SLSA1. As stated in the video it is a 2008 model. I demonstrate all the tones and add the 295HFS1 for dual sirens. Rumbler coming soon!
That HF tone is the one I am most familiar with, and it brings back memories. The Police and Fire departments where I grew up STILL use that tone as their main response tone, and it never gets old.
YASS! Thank you so much. The SLSA1 is probably the most common Whelen siren outside of the US and UK. Many of the "well-endowed" departments here use it as a more effective alternative to the China stuff.
Hola, el cable rojo es potencia positiva y el cable negro es potencia negativa. Los cables amarillo y marrón se conectarán a su altavoz de 100w. Eso debería ser lo suficientemente bueno para que funcione.
@@sixstringbestfriend yes Whelen has switched to the epsilon style wail, Yelp, piercer for their standard tones now. I know the Brand new made 295SLS series sirens have the epsilons style wail Yelp and piercer now as the standard tones as well as the new whelen B tones (B wail, B Yelp, B HiLo) that sound like PA300 tones.
Can we please get a re-do of the Touchmaster Delta tones letting them play through multiple times, with newer audio quality. Looking for good sound samples.
I'm guessing you need the siren tones for GTA or Flashing Lights siren mods? I too use these videos for siren tones. Some advice I can give for porting them into games is to add a bit of treble and reverb to help mask the "in a room" sound that the tones have.
Connor Baisa Railroad Railfan and other videos There is a button on the rear of the unit, and that is how to change to a tone from the bank of available tones.
Hola amigo, como estás ? Le hablo desde Colombia, me urge una sirena de esas para una ambulancia, ya que acá en mi país me ha sido difícil encontrar una.
Thank you. How much does this siren usually cost? Also I’m trying to find a smaller speaker that still puts out the same wattage since my current speaker will not fit in the engine bay of my wife’s Ford Escape.
@@rowdycogdell7604 Brand new they run about $300, but you can usually find them used for $100-$150 no problem. I would check out the Federal Signal DynaMax. They are 100watt and pretty compact. Here’s a link to see it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-50yUxMP73kU.html
Thank you sir. This will help me and my wife since we are both first responders. I am a legally blind volunteer fire fighter and she is a EMT. I know that when you see legally blind and firefighter you wonder if I am telling the truth which I am. The fire department that I am a part of has Specific jobs for me where I’m not in any danger and they know my limitations.
