Type: Whelen Vortex R4
Signal: Alert and Hi-Lo (test)
Location: 170 Park Drive, Wilmington, Clinton County, OH (Williams Memorial Park)
For the first Saturday in March, we decided to get a Vortex in Wilmington. Our original plan was to try and grab the brand new (installed two days prior) OA4 that replaced the 2001-DC downtown, but it wasn't hooked up yet. Either way, pretty happy that we were able to get our second successful Wilmington test. This particular Vortex is 435 Hz, and in case you can't tell, it's a clipper! Regardless of the obvious driver issue, it was pretty loud in person. Oddly enough, the hi-lo was much louder than the alert in person. Enjoy!
A side note, there was someone in their car next to us trying to get someone's attention in the skate park, so that's what all the honking is.
Clinton County sirens are tested on the first Saturday of each month at noon.
