@@laynedoe3455 I cam think of several instances where killing is just and good. A bad man raping a woman at knifepoint -> that would be a just killing to shoot that man. What about you're driving with infant twins and your wife and suddenly 2 men jump out and try to steal your car. Is it just for you to kill those 2 men? Absolutely it is. Also, how are you going to know who is a risk to you? Murderers aren't going to tell you that's what they are. It's a good idea to know warning signs. One of those warning signs is inability to properly regulate one's emotions. Soooo, stay out of relationships with mentally ill and emotionally unstable people and if you are emotionally unstable, get yourself some help before dating. 😊

Police NEED to make sure EXACTLY what they are walking into, BEFORE they walk into it. It would be reckless, dangerous, and stupid to just walk in there after someone claiming a man with a gun may or may not be in there, waiting for someone to walk through the door and blast em. They aren’t just standing around and talking, as those aren’t the only officers on scene actually DOING things to ensure the safety of EVERYONE present. Before walking into a situation like that, an officer must know everything and every detail they can, so they can properly conduct themselves and the investigation in a way that will prevent any more harm to both officers and bystanders, and also need to make sure that they aren’t destroying evidence or creating more problems by waltzing up in there with no idea of what may be going on or who may be in the house. What those police do every day is terrifying, not all cops are shitty but yeah a lot of them are and that sucks. It's actually shocking how little concern these cops seem to have for a woman who could potentially still be alive and dying inside the house right next to them. They didn't know she was dead already. People can bleed out for a surprisingly long time without dying immediately from some injuries. This woman is telling them what's going on and all they're doing is saying things like "Shot? You're saying someone was shot in this house? Right there? So the guy told you he thinks he _may have_ killed her, and she's in that house, there? Okay. So... Okay, tell me again; he said she's inside that house? And she's shot, and might be dead?" Jesus, dude. Go enter the house. Right now. You might be enabling this woman's premature death by not immediately doing your damn job, to ostensibly protect and serve these people.

Seeing cops to out of shape to kick a door makes me sad. Reminds me of the day my PL did an eye opening PT session where we dressed in full kit and did vehicle evac drills. Wasn't until that morning we learned pretty much none of us were fit enough to hoist one another plus the weight of our kits basically showing if we were in a situation where a vehicle caught fire we would have to leave a soldier due to our physical fitness. Needless to say they didn't have to push anyone to apply themselves during pt anymore.

My thoughts are that once a person is in a legal bind, be them guilty or not, even with the help of a lawyer, your life as you know it will be destroyed. I was involved in a dispute over a soda pop formulation....the lawyers never do a good enough job, it is like they are all in bed together, lawyer's fees are so expensive..after 2 years I gave up on my business that had said soda as the main product. I was close to foreclosing on my house and I ended up emotionally destroyed and bitter. The system is hands down awful. Sometimes the bad guys are caught, some times innocent people are convicted and every time the average person comes out destroyed. The lawyers however get every time richer.

Sadly thats how our legal system works. I remember years ago a bill was forwarded that would've capped lawyers fees and lawsuit payouts...guess what community screamed the loudest to get it killed...
