OP wasn't ripping into them, they were noting that this was their first experience with FromSoft dumping you off a high location that you're supposed to fall from. It's like playing Yakuza Like a Dragon, using your first Heat Action, going absolutely crazy over the over the top violence and then a veteran Yakuza player comments, "Never played the other Yakuza games, I see."
