Your third idea was especially well-illustrated when you pointed out that we don't tend to feel uncomfortable dissonance for a moment when hearing a hadith that seems to "favor" women over men. Very good because I just relatively recently ran in to these Qur’an only people and was subsequently called a mushrik as a result of my disagreement with their insulting regard for the hadith, shahabah ( ra) and the scholars. May Allah keep our hearts from deviation. Ameen
10:10 The problem is the Bias that this religion is the truth and the Prophet is actually a Prophet as he claims to be , We should always disbelieve the disbelief( the disbelief that the Prophet is actually not a Prophet and start doubting why we should not believe the prophet to be not a prophet).
