Narcissists crave control over others, including their spouses, coworkers, and friends. This desire often leads them to become aggressive and domineering. When people feel lost or powerless, they might try anything to regain control. For years, many have suffered at the hands of narcissists. Both narcissists and codependents seek control, and they will attempt to dominate you regardless of how easy or difficult you make it for them.
Today, we’re going to explore how narcissists deal with obstacles. They have developed sophisticated ways of thinking and acting, appearing strong and independent. Narcissists hurt others because they can't accept people as they are. They are intimidated by individuals who are stable, self-assured, and confident, and thus continue to target them.

It was like trying to climb a very tall peak when you were with the narcissist. At first, it looked like it would be possible, but as time went on, they became much more insistent. Every day, they didn't like you as much, which made you feel overlooked and worn out. No matter how hard you worked or how much money you spent, it was clear that you could never meet their high standards. Narcissists knew how to twist the truth, make you feel bad about yourself, and blame your problems on them.
