Drill Core is a unique colony sim, combining strategy

Small tweaks to drastically improve you're runs: 1) don't mine every empty block, you're losing a lot of time increasing overall difficulty. 2) Upgrade your units, especially the healing so they quit dying. 3) kill the eggs so the enemies quick spawning and killing your troops. 4) build the initial shield at the bottom so your guards can help kill stuff while the shield is still up.

Yh u had the motor which can do AOE damage also the laser Gard Tower or any are good also I think u should start by doing research in all the increase the production

Yeah see I'm thinking the same like the fireworks are really good for groups yet terrible at real damage out put it takes 4 shots with fire damage to kill the bulb looking things and like 5 and some change for the smooshed looking big things

The turret portion of the game is all about balance, something for heavy and something for the smalls and a long range at the lowest point to help the miners. After you've achieve balance focus on upgrades before new turrets, I've never used the blockers and make it to the end no problem. For the workers if you pick zones on either side of the tunnel they'll drill on one side, move all the way to the other, drill another. Keep the mining area small micromanage, if a block shows a bug prioritize and take them off their current mining. Max out the barracks and the upgrades as soon as possible, everything gets tougher as you go down, the haulers are important, keep a reserve of ore for replacing your staff immediately when they die, they are the most important thing to win. Also let them mine into the night, see a worm sign, then retreat or do a partial retreat, mining is the key to winning

I feel that I should mention that: Any turret with a Green Base is a Machine-Gun Type Turret. I believe Orange/Brown Base turrets are Explosive Type Turrets. And Blue Base ones are Energy Type Turrets. Also, I think that Rocket Watchtower you got early one would have been a BIG help if you had actually used it.

I do all fire work turrets, always move the research to the top floor, the higher the floor the more expensive it is, the research building is the cheapest, and keep the expensive ones on the bottom

Dude the blocks with the 3 squirming eggs on them spawn the blocks that make bugs underground, if you focus them you'll lose WAY less workers

I love this game. I aggressively prioritize & target the pulsing bug spawn blocks the second I see them bc they spawn bugs that will destroy your economy killing your workers. So having a bunch of resource blocks que'd and allowing 3 bug spawners to exist is a sure way to end your run. I also try not to spread my drillers too thin focusing on one side of the map at a time and quadruple target one block at a time. Cancel an order to drill out blocks about to hatch (the ones with a red dot & an X) and bug spawn blocks like your entire run depends on it bc it does! Thanks for the content.

It helps if you target those egg clusters before they send out a bug to target your crew. Once all the egg clusters are gone, you're free to mine at your leisure

24:58 there are little bars on the turret in yellowish color - they are the numbers of upgradeyou have on the turret.

Hey! I like this game. Are you gonna play till you finish a dive at least? Also, if any turret is free as long as it's the first 2, you could try your luck and maybe get a better turret digging throughout the 1st day. Hope you do another one. Thanks!

1:42 wrong side wrong high. the shield turret goes to the lower spot on the side that has less turret spots.

27:30 cos ur spreading miners too thin. each block can be mined by 4 workeers at once speeding the destruction of the block, also you need to focus on the red eye block to stop monsters from spawning and then find the spawner - the block with 4 sacks in it and destroy it ASAP
