It's hard to see the Odrysian kingdom being destroyed so quickly, and the nobles not being able to shine in this battle!

Interesting battle. Sally outs are good for people to try for practice and experience. It has its positives and negatives. Luistani is a very good faction to sally out with they have good infantry with slingers as long as they have cav to back them up. For the defenders kudos that they didn’t camp at the VP. Good comments with arrows galore. Keep the siege coming.

Thanks for covering Joe! The sally out was totally crushed but the defenders did everything they could to bring it back! Excellent showing by some excellent players! And a very fun battle nonetheless.

I never afraid of sallyout if it was infantry... the only thing that can make me drops my pan is Camel Cataphracts + side Chariot .Yesterday.. my whole army got wipe by saba 🤣 sallyout

Sallyout was too early tbh. They should have waited til they attacked before going for a sallyout or have one teammate stay inside while the other 2 focused on the sallyout

Agreed, doing it like this you're throwing away the advantage of a defensive siege and making it a land battle.

I enjoy to see a sally out, which is successfully deflected. But this was doomed from the start, 🐘🐘🐘 on the front and drawn out in a long line, all to early, enemy not scouted and just appear with your sally out force on a silver tablet. There is more to add about factions to sally out with and against, but anyway, just try and have fun at the end. I am here in second row backseat hiding behind a glorious Northmen type backseat general.

Verry good comment ! ! And thanks for sharing that battle with us 👍👍👍👍 I thought the game was over afther 15 minits . The attackers maded it so so easely to the defenders to attack always on the same spot. if they had used the siegetowers the battle would have been over in 30 minits . if they had used the attack towers the defenders range units never wouldend have carte blanche the whole game .... Thanks Joe for all the good advice you have given ...

how did this last 41 minutes I'm 13 in and no less than half of the defenders army is dead with the attackers havin taken virtually no casualties for how many defenders attacked and died

Why didnt they use the towers to get rid of the slingers on the walls ,they needed to spread out the defenders after the sally out they had lost a lot of units they need to make the defenders choose were they could defend with a attack along the walls not just the breach
